For some of us actually only interested in playing WoW Classic why don’t you introduce Priority Queuing Fee’s.
You like money, here is a business OP for you i’ll pay $10 more a month to not have to sit in a queue for 6 hours.

This is a very short problem we have to deal with right now. Give it a week and queues will start dying down.
The queues are only bad when people start getting home from work.

Which will be even worse when they take away layering.

they did say in Phase 2 that all layering will be turned off.
So it will go away and come back again.
lets remember that layering is currently allow 10,000 people to be on in two extra layers.
that is going to be pulled so thats 10,000 more people in the queue than now.
I said it in a previous thread and I’ll say it again: the principles behind this suggestion are abhorrent. You should be ashamed of yourself.

why? airlines have priority boarding and systems in place to allow a better experience if you pay. lets say half the people take it up thats only half the people to deal with.
If you aren’t going to be seriously playing WoW Classic then don’t take it up and wait longer.

Because it doesn’t solve the issue and it shows a level of callousness and selfishness that the game is better without. You could pay more and get in faster, then the guy you replace will still be in the queue. Or, you could not suggest just throwing money at your screen for instant gratification and wait in line like everyone else. Little micro transactions like this is what gives the current game industry such a bad reputation.

Might as well ask to buy a level 60 character, then you won’t need to log in until queues are gone.

People pay for expedited service all the time. People pay for upgrades in life all the time. Let’s be honest if you play an online game you are “throwing money at your screen” to start, the amount of money is each persons choice.
If you don’t like the idea that would be your opinion, doesn’t make it right l, and society as a whole has proven paying extra to get something faster is the norm so I’d suggest this would be on par with basically everything else in society that’s bought and sold.
If they seperated Classic and BFA subscriptions the que times wouldn’t be nearly as bad.

You’re right, this concept has entered every facet of our lives…and it has royally effed up those aspects. More aspects of society where entitled rich kids get a leg up on everyone else, that’s what the world needs. O wait, no, you just need to grow up. Have some patience and remember it’s just a game! It’s not like you’re waiting in line for a bed at a homeless shelter, or bottled water cuz your pipes are killing you.

Again someone telling others how to spend their money. How about you don’t dictate how others or why others validate spending money while you, me and others spend hours (odds are) sitting at a computer playing a game because clearly we could be told that’s a waste of time just as you want to tell others what a waste of money is? Again you are entitled to your opinion but fact is doing this would be more normal than not.

I never once said people couldn’t spend their money as they see fit. What i said was the option shouldnt be there. Try to wrap your small self centered mind around the difference. So very sorry you came across something in life that you couldnt buy a better result from but hey thats what happens when you consort with us peons.

It’s not self centered it’s, capitalism deal with it. I can’t help that you need your couch cushion money to pay for WoW as it is. Limiting options is just as bad as saying how I should spend my money it’s actually worse.
I didn’t suggest this should happen either, I was simply stating that the OP isn’t crazy in suggesting this as it’s the same concept that happens is basically every facet of society. I guess you don’t pay for priority shipping? Seating? Parking? Disney has a “fast pass”. It’s all around and that you don’t like it doesn’t make it wrong. No more than me liking it makes it right. The amount of people that would pay vs the amount of people that would stop playing/paying would be about the same, making this option a wash. At that point why not let people just buy T2 gear for real money? Takes all the fun away when pay to play turns into pay to win.
Surely you can back up your claims right? You know that 75% of all stats are made up?
So you believe in no boxing at all? One person one account played at one time? Because boxers get an advantage they pay for?
Getting into the game and avoiding waiting isn’t getting gear free so your concept is simply flawed.

Also I can afford my sub plus an imaginary priority queue just fine, but your unfounded assumptions about me are amusing. Just because I stick up for other people doesn’t mean I’m necessarily in the same boat as them.
