I know this will get heat, just curious if anyone else (working professionals etc) would pay an additional fee to have “preferred queue” and get through them faster?
Personally I would pay $100 or whatever to skip this nonsense, but I know this goes into the “pay to play/win” mentality that some hate.
Blizzard warned EVERYONE about what happens with HIGH POP servers. Your choice, your action. You made your bed. Now lie in it.

I understand where you are coming from, but I think your idea has two issues: 1) if everyone or a majority pay the fee, the queues don’t go away, they just get more expensive 2) it allows blizz to ignore the queue issue. Let’s be honest, this has been an issue for at least all of the launches pre-cataclysm and yet blizz still, as Illidan would say, is not prepared.
They should have added more servers during the name reservation. This was handled horribly overall.
The principles behind this suggestion should never see the light of day in this game. The queues may be frustrating, but throwing money to make it go away and negatively impact the people that refuse or can’t afford to participate in such a scheme is abhorrent.
Yeah, I went to Thalnos which said ‘medium’ when i logged in. I started in queue above 9000 and 1 hour 45 minutes later, I’m still at 1165.
just gonna toss this at ya, i rolled a relm that was medium, the lowest pop at the time, an now its full 90% of the time 
I think given how ravenous this fan base it, the majority would pay it and we would be stuck with like a “FastPass” queue anyway.
It’s going to even out, it’s freshly launched. Those sitting in full server queues just need to wait it out if they refuse to roll on a newer one. Period.

this DOES go into the Store issue, youre absolutely correct. One of the generally agreed upon issues with retail wow is that Actiblizz has focused more of their resources on cosmetic bs in the store, instead of actual dropped items/mounts/toys/ect which is one of the major reasons we’re going back to classic to begin with.

Can Bliz at least fix the “med” pop server list which is a blatant lie since theres the long queue to get in which also lies to you. 4k and 2 mins? lol only updates the time after it goes under 4k and the time jumps to 500mins…
BLiz may say they learned from past expac releases but they sure never put any action into it all.
