pre bis and attunements - hopefully both at the same time

That really depends on what you want to do.

Casual player: Do whatever you find fun. Run dungeons. Do quests. Explore the world, work on professions.

Raider: read up on what spec and spell/hit rotation your class needs in order to be successful. Look at the pre-BiS lists to find out how to gear up in preparation for raids, then run dungeons and/or farm materials for the crafted gear you need. You’ll have a much better chance of finding a raiding guild that will accept you if you can prove you are both skilled and geared enough to contribute. Get your attunements for MC, Ony, and BWL done (MC and BWL are extremely easy compared to Ony).

PvP: Similar to the above, find out what spec and gear you need, then go do it, and prepare for the slog.

If none of that sounds interesting…re-roll another class, level that to 60, rinse repeat.

  • Figure out what your end-game goal is (Raid? BGs? Farm?)
  • If needed, get your talents swapped for that end-game
  • Find out what quest gear you might want to get
  • Find out which reputations might have rewards worth getting
  • Find out which dungeons have gear you could use

Or … if you were me, start working on the next alt.

Do what you find fun. If you want to pvp, pvp. If you want to pve, run dungeons.

Your next character leveling is the most fun part.

Epic mount

Work on getting your epic mount - easier for warlock as you can farm mats & have someone summon last part for you.

Get as much +spell power gear as possible as that is your bread & butter to raiding… a +spell power green is better than most blues with lesser spell power.

Warlock rotation isn’t hard to learn however do learn how to not pull aggro.

An Epic mount.

So, I suppose the paths include:

  • farming gold
  • class mount questline
  • AV Rep grind

Which path you choose is up to you.

Find a guild and help.

My alt priest did:

  • some pre-raid bis dungeon gear (good start)
  • AV rep for the offhand (questionable but prob won’t see benediction for quite a while as it’s just an alt and handy to have a good offhand in the long run)
  • epic mount (been saving for 3 months, just got it)
  • expensive crafted gear (hide of the wild)

At that point the only real upgrades are from raiding and my priest heals MC/Ony really well so I’m good to do w/e I want, which is a pug raid every other week when I have time.

I’d saying finding a guild to fit what you’d like to spend your time doing (raiding, PvP, casual play).

Then either farm pre-bis or grind honor. Working on your mount in between.

reroll to horde is you arn’t already
