Prince Thunderaan WB - Nerf the AOE damage!

Can the SoD team please revisit the amount of damage the squall does from Prince Thunderaan world boss? Surely they can come up with another solution so that warlocks can’t solo him like before. It’s hard to get pugs together for him these days and dps often drop like flys during that squall ability, especially because it’s hard to stay in range of healer aoe heal / direct heal abilities with all the lightning clouds appearing at random all around the boss. I’ve been both a dps and healer on this fight countless times and it SUCKS for both sides.

I just wish they’d change the Hurricane FX to something more noticeable…
am I in the center of it? On the edge? If I move, am I moving further into it, or away??? WHO KNOWS! BECAUSE IT’S ONE OF THE WORST VISUAL EFFECTS MADE!

Like…my dudes…you made a dust devil visual for the one DMF trinket. You couldn’t, like, combine the Hurricane FX and that so people would know which way to move…

I don’t know you nor do I care what you think of me. Just providing my own experience/feedback to the blizz team as a paying subscriber. What they do with it, whether it contributes to a nerf or not, I’m still going to take a quick minute to share it.

Bring a priest and have them mana drain the entire fight. Trust me

Just mana drain him and his dmg becomes non existent…

Nerf the bosses or buff the gear. The gear is scaled to be catch-up gear, but the bosses are scaled to be AQ40 levels of damage.

I’ve literally never heard any guild/pug bringing this up, will look into and hopefully my next run this weekend will be way smoother, thank you!

The boss should not squall at all. If he squalls then nobody is in melee range. You can taunt the boss too. Bring 2 tanks. Have both in melee. Taunt when the other one gets kicked away.
