Because amazon paid blizzard $$ to give away virtual goodies to amazon prime subscribers in order to boost sales of amazon prime subscriptions and by attaching the prime account to your battlenet account it ensures that you can’t just give away the rewards you don’t want if you already had amazon prime.

My main reason for having Amazon Prime is the fantastic shipping. Everything else I get with it is just gravy. Amazon delivers packages every day of the week outside of major holidays.

Prime, twitch. Data brokers.

To be able to collate data and generate better profiles for what you’ll click on, what you’re interested in, what you’ll buy.

I need to hear Kratos yell boy now.

My thoughts exactly.

Gotta love how Millenials and Zoomers, who claim to be oh-so-enlightened about environmental issues and the carnage of consumerism, don’t bat an eye at the extravagantly wasteful enterprise that is Amazon.

This would be my guess. And Amazon owns Twitch, so they are financially benefiting from those giveaways as well.
