Primal storms.... kinda suck right now

Those weren’t like the most exciting thing in the world but at least it was something. Plus, you had some warning when something worthwhile to kill was about to pop up.

Sadly that would be way more exciting than what we have now. Kill mobs for hours in group for currency. No relating quests or anything to attract you to the area. Just kill for currency.
Granted I did cobalt AND black prince to max already, so Im kind of over these grinds lol.

Well, there’s the weekly quest to go collect some stuff at them, as well as the weekly turn-in drop from each element. And there’s rares that spawn with announcements and map icons, though without any other warning.

Yeah that’s kind of a bummer, especially since storms can spawn in both areas.

If you’re patient and not in a hurry you can grind storms and those reps at the same time lol

That’s true, but I want a big shiny GO HERE FOR WQ thing on my map. I accidentally do that weekly currency from just doing the keep assaults’ and other wq randomly lol. It would feel more meaningful if there was more of a goal or point. Not oops? I did a quest? lol.

Every time I get to one, it isn’t clear what you’re supposed to do,

That’s my complaint with the “Great Hunts”.

There’s no notification that they’re happening. No glyph on the map that says “Hunt here now!”. I’m flying off to some destination and stumble upon them.

And then you just get these phases of “kill stuff”, “now kill some more”, with no real direction. Mostly those seem to have little white borders on the map to tell you where to go, but at the end when the boss spawns? No idea where they are.

Thankfully, you get credit for the boss kill whether you help or not, but it would be nice to know where they are so you can participate.

when it comes to “invasions”, all people want is for Blizzard to recycle the Legion invasions.

Yes, basically. Legion invasions were far superior to primal storms.

Between the storms, the cobalt assembly and the obsidian key grinds, there is far too much mindless mob grinding.

This is definitely my 1 major gripe with this expansion.

I don’t get the point of primal storms, seems dumb. The gear is also very bad. M+ removes the whole point of it alone and your not gonna have much use for that 385 gear as a solo player.

Wait what? Yes there is. There’s a big ol’ hunting horn on the map wherever they are.

The boss also gets a border area where it can show up, and when you’re close enough it appears as a skull on your minimap.
