Mainly because priests aren’t able to heal very well when they are on the 3rd floor to grip. So it’s a sacrifice and strategy. Self teleports while holding flag has no sacrifice needed

This is not bad, this is TERRIBLE balance, its literally harming the game.
Healers and spriest abuses this mechanic, it tooks 1 minute to turn around and reach third floor, then flag carrier just jump… and got gripped.

I can’t jump to 2nd floor because its bugged “Theres no path”, is deathgrip still bugged failling most of the times when grip a target in 2nd floor?
This never works with the range and LOS combined. Better to use one of the several specs with a knockback to throw the priest.
If we consider priest has a good position this equation is even worse.
If enemy team abuses 3rd floor priest pulling we have to:
Go to the 3rd floor FIRST, knockback priest IF he has a bad position, then run for the EFC.
While enemy team attack our flag carrier with 10 times less effort. Its NOT EVEN CLOSE.
I didnt have any issues, as long as the priest comes out to life grip.
I just stand at the bottom spamming grip until the priest show his face.
Just let us heroic leap up there. Problem solved.
No, thats a ridiculous mechanic, make the “theres no path” thing to priests pulling once they are in 2nd and 3rd floor.
idk i’m not really a huge fan of just nerfing all interesting options with the flag so the FC’s feet are glued to the ground. If priests, evokers, and DKs can grip FCs, and everyone with a knockback can knock them around, and warlock can shadow rift them, let me leap the z axis.
This mechanic should be removed completely from flag carriers, all NON-PRIEST teams need 10 times more effort to deal with it, its crazy how they allow it in the first place.
Problem with fixing leap path is it might allow warriors to reach all sorts of weird places.
Like leaping on a lamp, or other decor, out of reach.
Druids can already do that. Shamans as well. Might as well let warriors. 
You are telling me blizzard can’t program “warrior can leap here in X and can’t leap there in Y” ?
Just make an exception to leap in second floor, is that hard?
Speaking of cringe mechanics, why is Bladestorm both a CC immune and a damage dealer?
i love when people make a big deal about bladestorm, if you literally press no buttons bladestorm hits about 10% of your hp 
You can remove bladestorm from the game i don’t care, as long blizz fix these cringe mechanics.

If blizzard remove priest pulling from flag carriers and remove dragon cringe slow immunity i promise i will unbar bladestorm forever.
