Yeah, it’s kind of difficult to admit, especially since my first ever toon was a priest back in MoP, that the class just doesn’t work for me anymore.

It’s not a number-tuning issue for me, it’s simply lacking the options and control that other healers provide. On my shaman, I can lust when I think best, I can plop down a totem to offer a combat rez in “break glass in case of emergency” situations, I can knock enemies halfway across the screen and reliably root them and slow them multiple different ways for good measure, I can interrupt on demand and I can AoE stun enemies at range, and then I can plop another totem to dispel poisons for me.

I can’t do any of that on my priest. Not even close to being able to do any of that. It just feels like playing checkers while everyone else is playing chess.
