We had this discussion in vanilla but how about bc. For pve/ pvp what’s do you think will be the go to racials. I love me my troll so sticking with him.
Dwarf is even better in Tbc.

They still get fear ward they get desperate prayer and they get the op Chastise.

Yes, but because of that they get desperate prayer and chastise along with stone form.
draenei priest get that mana tide ability which is nice for pve
for pvp though dwarf is probably bis with the stun
If I was going to play an alliance priest in pve I’d definitely go human. Desperate prayer, spirit racial, and diplomacy.
The fact they lost their unique Fear Ward (and it being nerfed) is a massive nerf to Dwarves overall, and Stoneform is nerfed too in the sense that it doesn’t purge Blind.

Alliance is fairly balanced . with dwarf ahead on pvp and human/draenei for pve
And its also indirectly buffed in TBC over its Vanilla Values because Bleeds, and Poison are both far superior in TBC than in Vanilla, and their use is greatly expanded in TBC.
Only Dwarf, Mage and Paladin can reliably clear Bleeds and Poison in TBC, this is something Shaman totem and Abolish poison Druid will fail to accomplish with any regularity VS any rogue who’s spec’d for PVP into Vile Poisons.
I played a few different healers in TBC, and in reality, Dwarf is godly VS rogues because of the ability to clear poison that otherwise cannot be removed. Cleanse, Abolish Poison, and Poison cleansing totem all struggle to deal with rogue poison, and the bleeds are only removed with Block Palla bubbles, and Stone form, this is something that luffa cant do at 70 because its nerfed for that.
People are sleeping on starshards hard for pve, its way better in tbc. 30 second cooldown, 15 second dot with 0 mana cost

I think so. Pretty sure night elf is going to be BIS for spriest pve because the other choices don’t really effect damage in any way? (for alliance)
For alliance, feedback (human) but situational.
Hard decisions. I just love the black out stuns on that hard hitting shadow guard. And it’s spell coefficient is still so high. Mainly it’s the spammable level 1 mortal strike hex as well.
Losing fear ward doesnt matter, because they still get it but they also get Chastise and desperate prayer.
Specifically for pvp those 2 added things along with stone form are broken.
Rogue on you?
Chastise him, stone form his poisons off along with the 5 wound poisons, cast a flash heal while hes rooted then pop desperate prayer.
Warrior on you?
Chastise him and run behind a pillar.
Chastise is brokenly op. Its also off the gcd.
For pvp undead if Horde. Dwarf if Alliance.
For arena specifically I’d consider human.
pve it doesn’t matter. Just play whatever.
All priests get fearward, but I think UD gets what? Devouring Plague or something?
Is there a reason undead is chosen as the premiere pvp priest for shadow instead of troll? Vanilla it was troll 100% even when locks were busted but it seems alot are changing their opinion to undead. Devouring doesnt do that much, can be dispelled, scales horribly and costs a buttload of mana. Although fear breaker is insane.
