Now I know obviously it’s unlikely Blizzard had fully fleshed out the Kyrians or maybe hadn’t even conceptualized them at the point of Leigon, however I’m noticing that the statues in the Order Hall have a passing resemblance to the owl humanoid creatures I’ve seen in Bastion, anyone think there’s connection or just looking too deep into it?

I mean their mounts look like that too… maybe? Also they supposedly plan expansion concepts 2 or so expansions early

Potentially yeah, I really hope it gets explored even though I know it’s fairly unlikely

It’s not that unlikely, I think there was a blue post mentioning that they already had plans for the theme of the next expansion, followed by “(Yes, there will be a next expansion)”. Don’t quote me on that though, for I don’t have the link.
Besides, developing a story usually goes faster than developing the game itself. They could have years of story ready to be expansion themes, they probably just do some short reworks here and there to fit in better.
