Mission accomplished in week 3 of this season! This was my very first season playing a caster, let alone a shadow priest. Was able to finish a solo shuffle match going 6-0 for Rival!
I know a massive number of players are after this new transmog set and it might be one of the top sets of all time.
Goodluck to everyone out there who is chasing this one. Playing shadow in shuffle was near painful at times. Especially right now with it being very difficult to gain rating. As shadow, all kicks are on you and the double melee matchups are nothing but constant pressure.
Made so many mistakes such as forgetting to life swap, dispersing too early and failing to maintain spread pressure and cross cc. However, it can be done!

Shadow feels amazing to play in shuffle right now with the prevalence of more casters, precog, void torrent gos being insanely lethal and high spread pressure.

I didn’t even consider playing Shadow to 1800.
Were queue times long?
I wonder if it’s better than playing Disc/Holy to 1800.

I’ve qued all 3 over 1800 this season and que times weren’t terrible, 10-25 mins on avg, but could’ve gotten lucky. Shadow is very fun, Disc and holy are both solid options for queueing up to 1800 too though.

Can you wear the same PvP gear for all 3 specs?
Shadow prios haste and holy/disc prio mastery>haste (but haste still great for both). So you can’t have totally perfect itemization for all but it’s easy to gear in a way that supports all 3 specs, especially with lots of honor gear still being prevalent you can just buy the offpieces and be okay
