My dwarf priest is unable to use wands. It just does not shoot. Reported the bug many times to Blizzard. Replies: None.
What can I do (no, don’t want to loose the time I put in). Argh.
Did you put the Shoot button on your bar (from the Spellbook’s general tab) and not drag the wand itself onto the bar? The weapon put on the bar doesn’t do anything…well, it would equip the weapon from your bags, but not activate the shooty bit.

Are you spamming the button? You target the enemy and activate it and it auto attacks like melee does. If you keep pressing it, it will turn off and on and off and on and won’t actually do anything.
Do you have a wand equipped?
Are you too far away?
Did you drag and drop the wand ability to your action bar? Are you trying to use the wand itself to activate wand shoot ability?
These questions are not smart alek questions. Answer them with detail and we might be able to help you.

Woot! Just glad it was something easy to fix. And it’s a pretty non-intuitive thing, so don’t feel bad. Always best to ask questions and get stuff fixed so you can jump back in to enjoying the game. Bubble shield and wanding is such a relaxing way to conserve that mana. Good times. ^.^
