As Chronowarden prevoker with chronoflame you can nearly get off a full 2nd cast during the channel time of disintegrate. Disintegrate also takes up the space of an Echo. Is there any point to using Disintegrate?
Not as Chrono, especially since CF can proc EB, whereas disintegrate uses resources.
The only time you might use it is if you need the slow (2nd boss of siege, adds on third boss of grimmy b, etc.), but even then AS provides that benefit while having the same bonuses as CF.
If you’re capped on essence and didn’t need heals, that’s the only time I could think you may use it, but you’d probably be better off just echoing a few people.

Okay thank you its good to get confirmation on this, I did try out a minute and a half on target dummies with just casting Chronoflame, vs casting chronoflame and disintegrate whenever I could and my personal results where lower damage with disintegrate. You’d kind of think that with the tradeoff of using essence that it should do more damage.
Yeah I mean I think if they’re going to buff it, they need to give it the chronoflames treatment and include it in that talent to do extra damage or something.
Simply aura buffing the spell would probably create issues since it’s shared across both hero trees and pres already does respectable damage.
I did napkin math on this a week ago.

I’m one of the weirdos that often runs Titans Gift.
I’m pretty sure the only reason to use disintegrate as pres is to get some mana back, but I only play pres on Rash mythic and not well so don’t take that as gospel.
In fact there is a reason to use Disintegrate. First, getting mana back is nice if you have the talent. The other reason I use it is when you are trying to store up as many free living flame (chronoflames) as possible and don’t want to waste the procs on mobs. You can use disintegrate as some filler damage while you wait for incoming damage. This is how I `bank’ as much instant healing as possible. I can usually save a chronoflame or two up and then when I need to boost everyones health up, I still have them sitting there for me.
Never press that junk. It needs a massuve buff to be relevant again.
Even with going inti the extra talents its still bad.
They really need to replace Disintegrate with Integrate. Green Beam fully healing an ally over 2 sec channel.
