Warchief Thrall would not bless any Alliance member with his warcry, and he is far too wise to be tricked by a simple mind control spell.
It is lore accurate that players under the effects of mind control should not be able to receive Warchief’s Blessing and therefore this should be disallowed in WoW
If this change results in too great a loss for the Alliance, perhaps an alternative way for them to receive it could be implemented.

Nah it’s fine as is. Ally don’t need the buff to clear raids. If they want to parse 20year old boomer content let them put in the extra effort they need.

Preventing Alliance from getting the buff seems like the most fair and balanced approach to me. If TBC never happened and WoW went into perpetual maintenance mode, this is a bug that absolutely would have been fixed.

The guys using multiple accounts to MC themselves, then get a rend drop should be cracked down on. Being logged into both realms at the same time is against TOS. It should be an auto ban if someone from the same IP address is logged into both realms

That sounds like a really good idea. They should implement that after they prevent mind controlled Alliance players from receiving Rend’s buff.
They did add it in SOD. You should play there and get it all you want instead of trying to change the vanilla version of the game to accommodate you.

Can you and your alt stop derailing this thread? We NEED this thread about Might of the Stormwind being added back because the other 5 threads were not enough. Someone give this guy his GDKPs back so he can afford to buy a rend buff on his ally toon like everyone else. Getting gold must be real tough on him these days with GDKPs gone.
