Pretty sick of (usually hunters) assuming every BRD run is an arena run

Almost everytime I join or form a BRD group, someone, usually a hunter, always joins thinking we’re doing arena/angerforge only groups and tends to leave when it turns out we’re not. Or someone converts into just Arena runs. Even though in both cases it’s advertised as a full run in chat channels.

I feel people completely tunnel vision and forget other classes BiS items are all over the instance, not just in Arena or at Angerforge, and it’s pretty annoying. If you want to find a group to do arena, do that, but don’t join another group then decide you just want to arena.

Ahhh yes… i do remember everyone not doing the escort quest at the end of Razorfen Kraul and skipping it entirely.

And also almost every SM was a Graveyard “spellcleave” farm.

It was … just an Okay time.

Cant really blame em, its potentially a 3 hour run for a full BRD. Youre right tho, they should make their own if thats all they wanna do.

takes about 3 minute to do, little to no trash in the way, have desirable item for everyone but healer. why would you not do arena?

Exactly. And I’m a healer.

I don’t skip Arena. That’s not what I’m saying. I’m saying people come into groups expecting only Arena and Angerforge.

On my realm most groups advertise exactly what type of BRD run they’re doing (Arena farm, Angerforge/Argelmach, Emp (Save/Kill Princess), Jailbreak/Crumpled Note, Quest run, full clear).

I’m surprised to hear that’s not a common thing elsewhere.

Also if you’re passing Arena during your run, I don’t see why you’d skip it. It’s 2 minutes.

I did it in the one clear I did there while leveling but the rings are really crappy for a quest of that level, especially for the amount of time it takes to escort him.

I don’t know why people keep assuming this. Never said anything about skipping arena. I’m talking about people joining the group and demanding we ONLY do arena.

I find the same thing happens in ZF where many players think it’s just a zombie farm run even when it’s posted as a full clear. People just don’t read I guess.

I think they understand it’s a full run, but they’re just taking advantage of your group for convenience. Sorry :frowning:

It’s because people worship these bis items like the next best thing is just complete trash.

You’re at fault just kick them if they try to high jack your party. Show them how alpha you are if you want to be feared or respected.

It’s often not my party, it’s someone else’s I join.

More often than not they leave on their own accord anyway. Which wastes everyone’s time.

People make these mistakes all the time. It’s not going to stop. It happens even in retail where the group finder has everything written down. And yet people still join the wrong group.

This Parents, is why it is important to make sure our children actually learn HOW to read, and not just keep resorting to TLDR on everything.
