If preservation healing range stays unchanged; some potential qol changes that would help with some pain points
- verdant embrace gives immunity during travel time to target; it can be suicidal right now to actually try to save a team member
- spiritbloom temporal compression reducing it down to 1.5/gcd; poping it with tip the scales feels rewarding but right now the 2s+ cast time just feels eternal, especially with encounters throwing things at you/ground every gcd
- hover allows casting empowered spells; chronowarden has cd reduction but not sure if it allows casting āallā spells

They canāt do this, even though it would be sick. An immunity on that low of a cd would be INSANELY abusable.
With Scalecommander having more frequent breaths, and just for general QoL, Iād love to see Stretch Time either baked into breaths or moved to the class tree. They could probably add VE to deep breath and have you take 50% of the damage you take during VE as a dot.
Most of the time Iām healing Iām using VE on myself with echos out for safety, though.

This always scares me to use it on someone else, because if they move I could be in trobule or in the blink of an eye if I think someone is in a safe enough spot, and they arenāt then I am in trouble.
Yeah unless you know the movement is going to put you in a better spot, thereās really no reason not just to echo and VE yourself (or someone else close that could use the heal). Especially since Attuned to the Dream lets you double dip with the healing done/received.
An immunity on VE would be broken (even if it was like old school DH Blade Dance dodge).
That said, I think VE is fundamentally flawed in itās current design/execution. Itās supposed to be the āoh sh*tā ST heal button, but in many situations the person who just took a bunch of damage and needs a big ST heal needs it because they stood in bad. So the relocation of VE ends up putting you at major risk of also standing-in-bad. So instead of taking that risk VE is use for Lifebind and Call of Ysera and not itās main purpose, which Iām not a huge fan of.
I do like how echo ignores range requirements and so maybe they can unlock more ranged healing techniques by changing how echo is applied. Maybe echo should be able to be cast through walls
This is exactly what TA/resonating sphere do, albeit with less powerful echoes.
DH has an immunity on a 20s cooldown.
Arms warrior isnāt quite as bad, but still has 2 bladestorms on a 1min and ~1min cooldown, which effectively averages out to a bladestorm every 30ish sec.
VE and rescue should at least get the healing / shield off even if you get CCd in the animation though.
I would settle for VE just going off when you cast it instead of when you arrive. Iāve had several times where VE failed even though the cast went off because of travel time.
Thatās also why I donāt think ājust echo them and VE yourselfā is that great of a response; sometimes the target doesnāt have the time for a second GCD, and the pitiful echo application heal isnāt going to buy them one.
If they took that much damage that fast that you couldnāt even spare a gcd for echo, youād likely be using a reversion (with golden hour) for the 15% of damage taken in the last 5 seconds heal, followed by echo and VE.
That combo is still FAR stronger than the travel time to deliver a VE to the target and potentially put yourself in a bad spot.
Iām trying to play off of the range of echoās duplication affect - not a cone that applies echos in one limited area
