Preservation Changes

We have been telling blizzard 4 target echo from TA is such trash idea and they don’t listen. Now huge numbers of people give up evoker and they are trying to fix it. What a joke. Still not gonna play evoker.

It’s almost like people didn’t warn blizzard they would be swapping if they kept those changes. Kept them anyway without listening to any feedback. Blizzard shot themselves in the foot on this. Can’t blame anyone else when the class has no one playing it.

Wow just saw this and can’t believe they’re already backtracking on their mistakes now just gotta wait for them to completely undo all these awful decisions, make Green Preservation more viable, give Dracthyr a proper Dragonriding racial and a flying racial for old zones, add a proper visage that matches the fantasy of playing a Dragon in WoW, add Transmog in Dragon form, rework Devastation, fix all the bugs and pathing issues, improve survivability and increase the duration of Hover :dracthyr_comfy_sip:

When we think about it, we should have played any other class this expac, and just wait until version 11.0 to play evoker.

I think with the range disadvantages and no huge/mandatory raid CDs, the spec has to have superior healing to other healing specs in order to be viable… at this point, why play an evoker? sure there are some cool little niches like bleed dispel and rescue but they are not strong enough to compete with the huge encounter saving CDs other specs have. Even the raid buff for movement CD is “sort of useful” but far from the power of what other healers bring. The range restriction is a pretty hefty downside… its too bad because the spec is pretty fun.

I agree. Previously the only reason to bring prevoker into raid is it’s burst healing ability. Other than that, prevoker don’t have team benefit abilities to the whole raid team. Now the burst healing is gone then why the raid team still need a prevoker?
