It seems this mode was really just made for the WoW Twitchstreamers clique to push some renewed viewership into the WoW category.

There’s people with a dozen+ wins not in the tournament and people who don’t even play WoW in it. It’s a marketing show.

Fun! I was level 2 in one game and had not 1 but 2 people chasing me across the map. Obviously I didn’t have much plunder to get. I ran past raptors and elites. They didn’t stop to get plunder. They were bent on killing me. That isn’t what this game was supposed to be imho.

What are you even talking about? They play just about every day. They do heroic and mythic raiding every week with their guild. They play WoW a hell of a lot more than some people on this “Creator Royale” list.
i am actually, literally doing this. except not paint but silicone. a crack formed in 1 of my rdwc hydro buckets so i have to wait at least 24 hours for it to cure before i can add back water. still more fun than plunderstorm.

The only way I could be convinced to watch is if Zentreya was streaming it, I was offered a “Body Slider” for my character and any set from any pvp or raid tier and class I wanted for my warlock’s transmog, and if I could drop 100 pounds by tomorrow and… Hmm… I was gonna say have a Date with Angelina Jolie, but I’d be too nervous.
I said in a previous thread the other day that Blizzard doesn’t advertise the game anymore. But I see now, Pluderstorm is the advertisement for WoW.

I was genuinely shocked to see Shylily and Zepla on the listing.
Well, maybe not Zepla so much - she was a former WoW player who I believe came back recently after Endwalker 
the bed. She’s still primarily an XIV creator, though, so it’s odd they went for her.
Shylily, though… I don’t personally watch her, so maybe I missed it. But I don’t think I’ve ever heard of her playing WoW? Or any Blizzard game except (probably) Diablo 4? Again, though, I don’t watch her - so she may indeed be an avid WoW player/streamer, at which point my confusion at the choice will be withdrawn. But for now, it feels incredibly out of left field.
