please say yes…or just put a dagger in my heart lol
Yes, no daggers needed
Today
Well, this is optimistic ![]()
Careful what you wish for.
yes can finally delete elvui bloatware
I mean, it’s not a bad start for a UI revamp, but it is lacking a slew of customization that would convince me to switch. I’ll certainly still be using ElvUI for the foreseeable future.
I’m still going to need bartender because it takes 10 bars to set up things the way I like. Blizz UI doesn’t go that high for some reason.
you have 120 keybinds? ;o idk if i wanna see that ui ![]()
I guess I will have to use Bartender now but I would rather have continued using Dominos.
HA, nahh, I only use each bar partially. I just have a segmented UI. Some bars are only 2x1.
Blizz didn’t make the new one bag system extend to bank slots so the only addon their new UI might have replaced…isn’t going to be. Swing and a miss, Blizz. Swing and a miss.
lol, wishful thinkin
oh Im LOOOOVING the new IU changes.
I kept harassing them for 3 new action bars like every day… lol…either they listened or there were LOT of others asking for 3 more bars.
sometimes they do actually listen.
they added three more bars…just enable them
Well when the PTR launched, there weren’t enough bars. So unless they added more, it’s not the 10 that bartender offers. I use all of bartender’s.
In short, yes.
I’ve been a big proponent of the new UI and am still thrilled that Blizzard has finally replaced the default UI after nearly 18 years. I’m stoked to see what other refinements they have to make on it going forward.
This having been said…
I think a lot of folks are going to get a splash of cold water when they log-in to the new UI. It’s not that it’s bad, but it’s different, and I think there is a huge silent majority of players who don’t keep-up with the minute-by-minute from the beta and PTR news who are only peripherally aware that this is coming.
It would perhaps have been nice if Blizzard had kept the old UI around as either a fallback or a default (with the option of switching to the new one). Many folks don’t like change, and this UI is that.
The new UI can be configured similarly to the traditional UI, but there will still be some differences. That’s going to put-off for a lot of people who didn’t realize the scope of these changes.
Okay, so that having been said…
I do encourage folks to keep an open mind and just try it (perhaps even before going and out replacing it with an updated ElvUI or whatever add-ons).
It’s not perfect, and I can think of a long list of features I’d love to see added (as can most of us). I do think it’s a great start, however.
Personally, I fully intend on going into DF with zero add-ons, going straight default UI with only the tools that the game gives me. I encourage folks to give this bit of purism a try. It can be refreshing!
its 8 bars and the one is the scrolly bar, so 9…but yeah…still shy of bartender
Still will be using bartender4, bagon, zperl, ommic, Weak auras, threat meters etc etc… too lazy to do a new layout unless I have no choice ie blizzard no longer allow third party addons

i still gots to have my mogging addons and farmhud, but definitely cutting 3 addons out of the mix thanks to the UI changes

I will definitely try, for sure.
I use a razor tartarus, and like to build a button map layout of really small buttons to reflect where the keys are on the pad, but on the screen. Then I like to have larger buttons that show important cooldowns. Hopefully there will be enough offered to make that work. Or maybe I’ll try to wing it by just noticing cooldowns in my small button tartarus layout.
or just put a dagger in my heart
SHhhhhhhhhhhhh!
looks around at all the rogues
Ixnay on the aggerday in the eart hay
did someone say dagger?
