Not everybody wants the same thing though. Take prepatch for example. Some people absolutely hate the idea of a zombie invasion “ruining their gameplay”, and some people hate the idea of nerfing the invasion to cater to “those crybabies”. Some people love the idea of a level squish, while some hate that “they are losing years of progress”. Some people want something new to do right away, regardless of whether or not it works, and some people would prefer it get delayed but be bug free.
You can never please everyone.
