PrePatch Issue

So…you have the spellbook in talent section and when I click it on , it takes up too much of my screen and COVERS MY BARS COMPLETELY. I need to be able to take the spells out of the spellbook and PUT THEM INTO MY BARS. The current ‘NEW’ spellbook is too large to allow this to happen. So my question is this : Why would you do this to customers who need to move spells around??? Please Make the new Spellbook SMALLER!

There is an arrow button on the top right of the spell book that gives you a smaller spell book, if I am not mistaken.

It only reduces the width, the height can still be extremely close to the whole height of the screen.

Maybe the spellbook window size can be edited through edit mode? I haven’t tried.

Came here to post this same thing, it should be able to be made smaller or at least MOVE IT to the side of the screen instead of right in the middle. Yes, I’m sure there will be addons but this is a pretty basic thing it’s like they gave us the UI customization and then learned nothing.

Just make macros until they fix the mess they’ve made…

Agreed - and what’s up with the HUGE options menu? Several parts of the UI are a bit weird looking and too big, too pixelated, despite multiple attempts at graphics tinkering.

The Transmog vendor dressing room window is dur der der, smooshed on one side.

This is General Discussion; people are looking for problems to cry about and be mad over, not looking for answers nor solutions.

Streamers have been pointing this out since beta began months ago.

Anyone who thinks this is ready for live is nuts.

Don’t forget the “it’s just beta” crowd.

You can resize using this.

Just drag and drop like usual. When you drag the icon out of the spell book the spell book drops into the background so you can place the spell. For visually impaired people it’s a lot easier to see what we’re placing and where.

we are actually aware of the “solution,” even the shrunken down version takes up a ridiculous amount of space smack in the middle of the screen.

Perhaps your clever forum replies are funny to you, but I assure you no one else.

Have you tried turning off the monitor and replacing it with a bigger monitor and turning that one on?

Yep I figure there will be lots of addons just to do this, it just astounds me Blizz redid the UI and gave us options to move and resize almost everything but not the spellbook (yes for the third time we are aware you can shrink it but it’s still huge)

This was brought up multiple times in Beta feedback. Blizz ignored us as usual.

yea they UI scaling is kinda wonky all over, inculding and not limited to the spell book being way too big. i have to use an addon to scale the window sizes down to make them readable/useable

So why ask the question?

Not funny, just truthful. What is funny is the overreaction to them for free entertainment. Please, do go on.

Well, it isn’t free entertainment… what are you on about? You really do seem like someone that logic can’t reach so I think I’ll pass on continuing this conversation.

I’m not paying you nor anyone else to watch your temper tantrum, so it is indeed free.

Translation: “I lost the plot so long ago, realized I made a complete fool of myself, but instead of acknowledging any of that I’ll just blame someone else then run away and hide.” Don’t worry, I’ll pick up that W. Cheers.

Hey Somwun you are a troll …even when you minimize the spellbook to one page it still covers all my bars. If there were a way to report you I’d do it but i am not given any choice on current screen
