Having a few weeks of unbalance is better than having whole months of it like with corruptions. A limited time event is the time to throw balance out of the water and just do whatever. go out with a bang.

It’s…fun for people with power, dear. Some of us aren’t that great at the game. Getting roflstomped for a week isn’t my idea of a good time for a game I’m spending 15 a month for.
So yeah. No you can have your unbalanced game in warmode, and I’ll opt out and have my balanced game. You’re not losing anything except the opportunity to kick the asses of low level players.

First scourge event says other wise. It was some of the most fun. Sure people was upset, but who cares someone always is.
I rather have griefing for a short time, than how boring this is.

It was amazing. I have such fond memories trying to cleanse people and prevent myself from being turned into one. It completely changed the dynamic of questing. I was horde then. Crossroads. Oh man, Crossroads. You’d use general and ask how things were at quest hubs before you entered. The Argent Dawn was the main faction trying to fend off flying Necropolis (like Naxx and Acherus).
Keep in mind we didn’t have flying in the EK or Kalimdor.
I would love something similar. I think with the ability to mount earlier level (was level 40 back then) and even fly in the EK and Kalimdor, coupled with scaled leveling would mitigatw some of the headache experienced back then. If your quest hub was infested, gg. Now? Now, one could move to another part of the world, shard to another server, etc.
But, obviously that’s my anecdotal evidence.

Hun, you need to understand something. You getting roflstomped is not the end of the world. For a short time, cities would not be safe. You could work around it.

People always threaten to quit when they don’t get way. Lets not pretend like they really did as we both don’t have data.
But I will say this. Most people judge pre launch events based off how much fun that one ways. Even legion ones scourge event always gets tossed up. It left a impact on wow history.

theres nothing balanced about people standing around for 20 minutes waiting for a rare that doesnt even drop anything good.i guess you dont like immersion in your games…what do you even play anyway farming simulators?

This whole event is boring. It does not bring the spirit of the first scourge invasion at all.

I play minecraft. :3 Cause I’m studying to be an architect. And city sims. Because ditto.
And I spend most of my time in game sketching the architecture and trying to envision how these cities would work irl. :3
I’m not standing up for what the pre-patch is - but what OP is suggesting was taken out for a reason.
But yeah no I’m never not gonna have fun taking the piss out of a bully.
