Prepatch is proof that you listen to wrong feedback

Wait why was I tagged for this?

I replied to something you were quoting.

Where’s the white knights when you need them? Devs nerf fun remember? Grinding and farming only. Carrot :carrot: dangling.

The ignorant take is believing people will continue to pay for a game where other players literally have the power to prevent them from playing the game, thus not being able to participate in the timed event you’re crying about because everyone, including Blizzard told you they’re just not interested in being your victim.

It’s supposed to be a invasion. A literal invasion of the undead in every city on the face of Azeroth. There’s no safe spaces for carebears.

If they are willing to leave because a event happens that makes it slightly harder to do what they would do. For only a few weeks. The game would be better off without said players and developers not hearing feedback from them. So it is a win/win for all of us.

I agree with the sentiment that the event is way too neutered and safe compared to what it was going to be. I don’t quite understand the sentiment from the crowd that would be so upset to be bothered for a few days by a once in a game event that changes the game play
If you’re bothered by events and changes that affect the world you’re playing the wrong genre of game. Mmos are more loving worlds than a static one and done game

It is because wow is more like a mobile game now. People feel like they need to log on do chore list log off, and if they don’t get that done. They are not progressing. World events, only matter if it makes them stronger.

It is a shame what mmorpg community has shaped to be in this game.

You guys are talking about you can’t have this. Doesn’t warmode give you all this anyway. It seems to me you guys got what you want and the people who don’t like this PvP stuff forced on them also got what they want.

That is actually how blizzard should work to fix things so both sides get to play the way they want. I don’t understand the complaint - you just don’t want to turn on warmode? Why because people in that mode are prepared to defend themselves?

No it does not, Because part of the fun of the event was the crazy war that happens in goldshire with zombies all over the place, the rp and crazy spot of a mass amount of people all hanging out in one place and what this event does.

That is just one example, another is that the impact feels cheapen if people can just play normal and be safe. What the heck is the point of a invasion that players are safe from.

So it really comes down to this, you want to be able to use others for your entertainment even if they don’t want to be used. It is more about what you want and not what others want at all.

I am glad blizzard ignored your wishes.

Yes that is what a mmo is maybe you should not play a mmo if you want to not have other players actions not effect on your gaming and what happens in the world.

Go play Skyrim. Most of the time I would agree choice in the matter. But on a EVENT that last a few weeks that is suppose to have impact.

Blizzard is ran by a bunch of morons for letting this event end up like this.

Part of the idea of an invasion is that there’s no safe spaces, regardless if Ghouls were people or NPC’s. That’s the whole point of the event. The Scourge are literally invading the world of Azeroth.

I’m really disappointed that Blizzard keeps knee-capping themselves for undeserving and entitled players like yourself.

Odd sentiment for someone on Moonguard to have considering the fuss a lot of people on that server make about other people’s names, about other people interfering in their RP, etc.

Moonguard has way more laid back rpers. It is not wyrmrest, and many non rpers play on it. My husband and I don’t rp, but we enjoy watching other people rp. Because it adds to the immersion of the world. We treat them like NPCS.

Many of them I talked too are upset that we can’t have a scourge invasion like the past. Goldshire was ripe for the picking.

I am guessing the people in Goldshire wanted to be harassed and those were the ones you were talking to about missing the ability to be?

It is a game, if they get upset because for a few weeks things are not normal. They can just leave the game, we would be better off. If the rules change due to a event, where they can be “harassed” because a invasion is happen. That is ok, and anyone who says other wise should not be playing a mmo. As they are the reason the community blows.

I suspect they started to mean about the whole Scourge running around and infecting people. And possibly realised it hasn’t started yet. Or may not have realised it hasn’t started yet.

I’m just guessing, though.

Well it appears that blizzard decided they would rather have those people in the game than people like you. The game is for fun for everyone. You can try to whitewash your actions all you want but basically you are all for having the ability to bully others and are unhappy because blizzard took that away.

It has nothing to do with the content, content you can still do on warmode and has everything to do with the above.

People like you are exactly why we can’t have nice things.
