Blizzard, could I PLEASE get a response on whether the pre-patch will hit on this coming Tuesday or not. I don’t need an actual date if it isn’t Tuesday but I’m VERY close to getting the all rank 4 essence achievement. If it’s not this Tuesday I can finish up 2400 then spend the rest of next week getting my last bit of honor for BG achievements. But I really don’t want to spend ALL weekend spamming arena for 2400 only to have prepatch hit and I can’t even loot that Rank4 out of the chest.

If it is the 29th which I hope it is they should announce it today. Last two pre-patches were announced on Friday and live on the following Tuesday.
I need a snickers cause I am getting grumpy.

At this point even 6th seems unlikely. 29th definitely isn’t happening.

This topic could use a few absolutes. The prepatch is a significant date for the PvP community and for pve also it means quite a few achievements, mounts are no longer achievable. Blizzard will not do that on a 3 day notice. Hence the absolute about 29th.
The probability of us getting a 2 week prepatch is higher than them giving only a 1 week notice for the above mentioned things. Hence the assumption about 6th.
not this month.
probably mid october pre patch trash “event” will last 2 weeks so it’s perfect for launch at 27 might be even cut the event off a few days.
People is way too anxious…
Prepatch is only slightly more predictable than death.
While you can die at any moment, the timeline for the prepatch is any moment between now at October 27th.

Here, I’ll help you - I can absolutely GUARANTEE it’s not the 29th. Not 99% sure. Not even 100% sure. I’m 200% certain it’s not the 29th.
It was always the 6th. If they don’t have a release candidate up in the next week it’ll be the 13th. I think the 13th is the hard limit on the pre-patch. It’ll drop no later than that, come hell or high water it’s going live.

Yeah got unflagged - people were saying the BoA Black Empire catchup gear was still 415 item level POST SQUISH.
There are some…things to sort out.
I agree on the 29th not happening but end of season was already given on Monday.
My crystal ball says Oct 6th but my chicken says the sky is falling. Take it as you will.
