Instead of get rid of key downgrade at all Blizzard decided to dwongrade even the weekly vault key.
So there will be even less keys on the play

They aren’t removing the downranking feature, so I don’t understand what you’re actually complaining about.

Read the patchnotes, they are downgrading your weekly new key if you don’t continually push or maintain your key each week.

The downranking is not even that bad. Unless you are not taking part in the content activly and as such why should you have a high key. Raiding dosent constantly give me loot just since I got aotc 3 months ago no need to keep doing the same level to get the same level of reward.
What’s going to make m plus worse is valor only from timed keys making it further a need to time vs just conplete even if only wanting weekly chest. This will make even 14s that you could get into with lower io as people made a bunch for weekly chest require even higher amount as people won’t be only going for chest but chest plus valor.
In fact the change to downgrade keys matches well with that other change as less “carried” keys as time goes on as they need to rebuy weekly or get a new Carrie weekly vs just once. As such less likely to get “bads” that have a high key from a old Carrie. Those taking part in the content is not really much of a change for: needing to time for valor thou will make keys a lot more toxic.
M+ is end game, it’s literally one of the core end game aspects of the game.
I don’t like PVP and I don’t go around saying PVP isn’t end game content either.

You should really read the patch notes before creating threads. With the new update if you complete a +15, the weekly vault will give you another +15. You only get a downgraded key if you don’t push any more keys for over a week.
To be exact the line you quoted was posted BEFORE blizzards update changing that. The op was correct before the blue post adding that part last night after this thread was made.
Blizzard change to get a equal level key vs one level below key announced last night is a better way that was a result of threads like this.

it’s looking okay for druids right now… my hopes are high. I don’t think we will get any better with dps output, but, i don’t think the class overall is going to be worse…
can’t say the same for others though - it does suck that good classes are losing things that make them good in the first place. i know the feeling

And mmo champ dint see and post for a few hours after that. While not everyone sees mmo champ or blue posts instantly. My comment stands. Until the info has been spread and reached the person in question the accuracy of the person in questions post at the time remains. In fact at the time of the ops post I went and checked mmo champ as dint even no about 9.0.5 having a set date yet and the only info posted was the part the op mentioned it was not till a few hours later that mmo champ posted the part you mentioned. Even now the patch notes linked there still dose not contain the mentioned change and have to find a different post to see it as such vary easy to miss.
If you want to try to sound smart by telling people to read the patch notes before posting you should make sure the patch notes have the changes in question on them on every source esp the major ones. As otherwise you are just incorrect as at the time the op posted the change you mentioned as said was not common knowledge. While your better of informing people of the new info vs trying to correct them when they where completely correct.
