I’m interested if anyone knows why premonition for disc. priest doesn’t break cyclone?
Cyclone is a disorient and premonition breaks other disorients such as:
Dragon’s Breath, fear, blinding light, blind, song of chi, mind bomb, seduction, intimidating shout.
The only other one it doesn’t break is mind control.

Cyclone doesnt break on damage.
Only thing that removes Cyclone is Mass Dispel, everything else is immune to it, including damage.
The spells you listed, do break on damage.
cyclone and mind control have literally never broken on damage
go attack a guy thats in a cyclone and you will understand why

Clone does not break on damage, and as such it does not get broken by premonition.

I think the better question is: Why doesn’t cyclone break on dmg?
They were only put on that DR category as a result of pruning, not necessarily to actually change their effects. It is absolutley fine as is, both of those CCs are unique anyways. They made them less effective by sharing those specific DR categories.
Different abilities are different anyways. Cyclone makes the target immune to damage and healing, so therefore premonition does not work on it. The ability would not even be the same if it broke on damage and this should not change.
For semantics sake, Demon Hunters detainment honor talent also makes their incap act just like cyclone (immune to damage/healing during it) and SV hunters diamond ice talent does the same to their trap (at a sacrifice of duration). It is intended that you do not premonition out of these, even though they are on the incapacitate DR category.
