Honestly… probably an unpopular opinion but i made my lock Goblin… seems super fitting imo.

Confidence is key to being a warlock. Go with what makes you feel cool. For if you feel good about your toon, the damage numbers will follow

Mag’har orc if you’re a Demo lock. Their pet buff racial is nice.
Goblin is the obvious choice, however UD make fine warlocks too. (from your choices)
My lock was originally UD, but then goblins happened. I personally find goblin racials more beneficial than UD.
Orc would be a distant 3rd choice.
Personally I would like Zandalari Troll as we were supposed to get.

Undead o you can actually look evil like a warlock is supposed to.
You saying Orcs can’t look evil? We got the Hunch of evil, Orcs entire purpose is to be evil and make it everyone else’s problem. And blood elves, I mean they got the beautiful monster archtype going, regal on the outside, twisted on the inside.

Might take Blood elf off the list, I originally put them there due to Bloodmages from yesteryear and fel green eyes. But I’m also thinking of making my Alliance lock Void Elf. Might use the name for a Mage but then that opens a whole new kettle of fish as I need to decide which I like better, Sin’dorei Fire Mage with all the Phoenixy goodness, or the Arcane rich history of the Nightborne.
Maybe I’m fuzzy on the lore but I feel like void elves make the least sense for warlocks. Shouldn’t the combination of void and fel make them pop like water balloons?

Well crap. I’m stuck, I guess Dark Iron but I’m pretty happy with the Shaman thing that they got going.
I remember Xhul’horac. It’s existence was an implied experiment though, right? Like, that combination wasn’t normal. In fact, given that Xhul’horac is a void revenant (undead), it’s three layers on nonsense.
Alright, I got to thinking, it should be ok. I mean Warlocks summon Voidwalkers so it should be fine.
