Limit the number allowed to premade que for BGs to 5 period. There is no reason for a group of 10 or 15 on voice chat with an optimized group to be able to go in and keep pugs from getting rep and honor in BGs. Do not give me the make your own group I generally enjoy solo queing BGs but when you run into 15 alliance pre mades back to back the system is beyond broken then Blizzard rewards them with insta ques because they have fewer people queing then horde.
If they do not want to lower group side queing vs pugs then give the pugs 100+ bonus honor per kill since all you higher ranked pre maders seem to think you have great skill that should not be an issue since us puggers have to work harder for kills.

I completely participate in stomping PuGs in a premade, but people shouldn’t be dishonest about how it works. Premades spend gold to roll PuGs and finish games in 6m. That’s all it is. You get 10 or 15 people together who have the gold to spend and who agree to spend it so that they can turn PuGs into uncontested honor.
What happens when we come up against a premade doing the same thing? We respect first cap or the blacksmith fight and one of us folds. Premade vs PuG is a gold game, not a bodies game. The more gold you spend, the “better” your premade. It’s not PvP, it turns the content into a big joke, but abuse it to rank while you can, if you can.

We fold for each other after the outcome is clear because we know the hph in a 5 cap is far better than a 4 cap is far better than a 3 cap. PUGs don’t typically fold unless you totally dominate them from the start, never letting them hard cap a node. (At least horde pugs don’t. And ally pugs shouldn’t, bc pug hph is typically improved by holding out.)
The gold thing … no? Our alliance premades make fun of the hordes that blow consumables unnecessarily. It’s super sweaty guys.
But even pugging you will do better and have more fun if you show up in PVP spec and gear and with a stack of bombs, sappers, rage pots, health pots, bandages, FAPs, LIPs, and engi trinkets. That’s not spending gold for free(?) honor, that’s playing the game. The pugs complain on here because they think they should only have to play against other terrible players who are raid specced and unprepared.

You are going to have to accept the existence of geared up premade groups, they aren’t going anywhere.
WoW Classic PvP BGs aren’t designed to give a “fair fight” and if they were redesigned, there would have to be more than just limit organized groups versus Pugs. A geared up Pug will ALSO demolish a poorly geared Pug.
Sadly, because of twinks there is no BG for beginners, BUT that being said , Classic WoW isn’t going to bring in that many “NEW” players (ie never played any iteration of WoW) and even less likely to retain them, it’s more for people who already have a high level of game savvy.
So, no issues then.
Does this happen often for you? I have been logging BGs for the past couple of months, in sets of five (AB/WSG solo queues), at various times of the day, each day (often times multiple sets/day), and have not yet run into 15 Alliance premades back to back.
Man horde pugs are quitting. Horde queues are instant now and alli have a few secs longer than horde. Crazy isn’t it? Alli ruined solo q for horde
I thought this too a while back, just requires you adapt to the play style, you really gotta adapt and learn that you are not immortal in Classic PVP and any scrubby zug zug in blues can global you no matter your gear. Well unless you are playing an Shadow priest then you can face tank the world.
All this means is spend more gold on consumes and roll over the people who don’t. Classic PvP is ONLY shenanigans.
My one quibble is that AV is absolutely the BG for beginners. It’s a great place to get your first few ranks in.

Keep the alliance that went horde, we the alliance delegation don’t want them back.

Yeah in a situation where every player is equal, but in most games its not the situation at all, you can play around many of the consumables just requires you play smart and know what CC’s and abilities, how they DR and how to control the situation, also helps if you coordinate your control.
Grats on playing the shaman equal of the PoM Pyro mage, enjoy getting zug zug’d by warriors and rogues who know soft your character is.
They changed how the queuing system worked in January to prevent premades vs pugs. I don’t see why Blizzard can’t change the queuing system again to prevent premades vs pugs.
Correction: it’s the only viable shaman pvp spec
