Honestly thats the most simple breakdown. When you’re a premade crushing pugs it’s braindead easy. When you’re a pug vs premade it’s a waste of time.
It just doesn’t make any sense to match premades versus pugs as if it were any other group.
Implement the TBC Classics changes and prioritize matching premades vs other premades.
got absolutely stomped by 10 premades in a row. finally got 1 game against a pug and they got stomped and just felt bad for them because they had no chance. zero challenge at all. an easy win after 10 losses should have made me want to keep playing but I’m stopping after today. its like blizzard puts you against bots after a certain amount of losses because they feel bad for you or something. yea whatever cya
Its boring for premades too, we don;t have any fun after the first fight in middle then everyone quits… it just feels like a soulless farm
Premades are for people who can’t win without being carried.

And? Pug v Pug definitely isn’t the answer, most of those fights are are incredibly painful due to either poor rng or braindead players not know how to play. Most Pug v Pug battles are decided when the invites go out. If you end up with no priests and the other side gets even 1, There is a good chance you end up getting farmed the same as if you had faced a premade. And then there is also the chance that even if you do get a good comp, you end up with 9 idiots that have absolutely no idea how to play.

Most of us aren’t doing it for fun, we are grinding rep. Most of us recognize that WoW is a terrible PvP game, that is why most people stop doing a BG when they hit exalted, or stop PvPing altogether when they hit R14.
Nope, for people farming rep. It’s the solo queues that hope to be carried and the main reason you all want to kill premades. You want the skilled players to solo queue so they can carry you.

FIne, drop solo queue rep rewards to 5rep per cap and 1 mark per victory 0 per loss. As has been said many times (and proven when tried to implement) Premades form to efficiently farm rep/honor. By forcing them to face each other, you remove efficiency, which means they will adapt. The end result of the changes you all are asking for is that premades will solo queue en masse. But as I’ve said before, this is what you all want, because you want them to carry you.
BGs are the casual’s way of getting pvp in reliably. Currently, the overwhelming majority of the pvp playerbase is finding bgs to be insufferable. Thus, things need a change.
No one cares about your honor or rep farm efficiency. It is toxic game design
If you queue with > 4 players, you should be placed into an entirely diff matchmaking system
Premades are the ones squatting and stinking up the matchmaker and yet they tell the majority residents they dont deserve the same cut for a mode they dont even like
I wouldn’t call it the majority of the playerbase, just the vocal minority here on the forums. The problem isn’t as bad as you all claim, though I suspect most are just looking for someone to blame. I see a lot of people crying “premade” when the other team is clearly not a premade. I’ve actually started tracking my solo queues today, up to 4 games, no premades yet.
