Premades don't disappear with TBC

Those honor piecies dont compare to conquest, or for a classic comparison, warlord gear.

There isn’t going to be a 6 month span of constant premade of people trying to get gear ahead of the curve. Quit trying to hatebait. You dont actually care.

And about .1% of players will have enough conquest to even max out the current season. Weapons take months to get at the rating most people will be chilling at. And its capped per week so it’s not like you can just no-life your way there. People aren’t going to be just walking around in full glad gear the first month, rofl…

No but the people who are min maxxers(ie the people who are most inclined to premade) will be in full BG gear week one of BG release. There won’t be a solid year of people running premades all day.

You need honor points for several off pieces and also in season 1 it is useful to grind the entire set for some classes as well since the amount of arena pieces you can get weekly is limited so you need the resilience from somewhere.

Oh for sure. As a Druid I have to basically get some pieces to shore up the lack of Defense gear until I get Clefthoof, and later when I want to get out of Clefthoof.

I ranked by premading and I only solo’d WSG on my druid (much easier to carry and opposing teams are less inclined to go sweaty). Winning 12 AB games an hour is alot more fun than sitting at LM flag protecting for 30 minutes.

Again, ranking = gearing in classic, it doesnt in TBC.

There is no multi month honor wheel. You are right. People will min/max, people will premade, and people will honor farm. It wont be 18hr sessions multiple days a week. It will be done and over with before you can blink and the amount of premades will drop off QUICKLY compared to vanilla.

No, no it doesnt. The problem with classic BGs was premading not only was the most effcient way, but even then it took 12-16hr days most days of the week.

You wont see this in TBC guys. Sorry to ruin your pity parade. Random BG pvp will be fine.

Yeah I’m not sure why all this crazy hype over BGs. I really didn’t bother with them much at all except for killing time every now and then and grinding the minimum Honor I needed for the next season’s whatever-I-needed-for-gap-filling. I remember doing concerted BGs again for the first time in Mists of Pandaria for the stupid legendary quest chain.

I even dropped out of doing Arenas after Wrath because it just wasn’t worth my time to grind it out when PvE gear was so much better for Tanking. Wrath Arena weapons were exceptionally solid EH choices, but that was it for that.
