Is it just me or are pugs being matched with pugs now and premades are being matched with premades?

I don’t think so. Every other premade is being met with another premade. Exclusively. Widely being reported now. Could still be coincidence due to time but if not, this is pretty huge. Blizzard will be getting a standing ovation tomorrow if this is the case.

I would actually consider logging on other than raid logging to run some bgs if this was the case

So far it’s only been premade v premade. Monitoring streams as well and it’s the same for them. Really hoping this isn’t all just a coincidence.

In my 1 experience earlier today, I queued a WSG, all too ready to type ./afk when I viewed the alliance server list…to my surprise different servers and a convincing 3 - 0 win to follow - for the horde!
I qued 1 wsg because of this thread, 3 priest 4 hunter premade /afk

Yep same, I only raid log on my main two guys because premades are not fun for me. Would love to get to do wsg again with pugs.
On the one hand it’s overdue and I really hope they finally got off their lazy asses and fixed this problem. On the other hand, and if your statement is true, I literally just finished the grind to WSG exalted yesterday and now I want to cornmit sewer slide just a little bit.

Sounds like maybe the pugs have stopped playing. Or maybe they took all the forum warriors’ advice about “git gud & join your own premade” leaving only premades to face other premades.
In either scenario, the battleground will soon become a ghost town as the last thing premades want is to have to face other premades.

It’s just a result of the archaic policies blizz has concerning the forums afaik. Twitter is like a loophole
In his latest reply today Aggrend did say they were still listening and condsidering solutions. Wouldn’t surprise me if they implemented the same hotfix that was added here in TBC.
