Hello Classic Community,
I have a simple request regarding premades - one that the players control. Ever since I hit R6 it’s been easier to find premades. Which is great. HOWEVER, now that I’m getting into them, I’m noticing something: Elitist Attitude.
I know, I know. No surprise. But it isn’t what you think. If we could all stop talking crap while we’re premading that would be great. I’ve been in several today and it’s “OMG look how bad horde actually are!” “Holy crap, too bad they’re getting rolled by garbage alliance”.
Or, the ones on the one premade I was just in spam emoting goodbye, and farewell. Please. STOP. You make us look like morons. You’re gloating over PUGS. We are on discord, we are coordinated, and we set up a decentish team. Why are we bragging? Why are we pretending that we’re somehow better? Why are we acting like we’re accomplishing some impossible feat? Grow up.
Or, my personal favorite of the day “You’re R6 how the hell did you get into this group”? Uh, because there is no skill requirement for R1-14? Like, zero. It’s all about time, being able to get into a premade, and having a class people want (woo paladin).
So, uh, yeah. Can we like…stop? We look like we have extra chromosomes acting like this.

Sounds about right. Premades thinking they are skilled bragging about beating pugs. LOL not surprising in the least. Classic pvp is a joke

oh. do you like control objectives in the world and expand the influence of your faction and stuff?
No it’s just about winning territory certain times throughout the day. AB is still BiS BG imo.
PvP has always been like this so
The premades I ran with generally didn’t brag about stomping PUGs. We just destroyed PUGs for the most part and then HK farmed them a bit and then finished the game. It was expected and not discussed. When a PUG was difficult for us that’s when things were said but it was things about our performance, not theirs.
Nothing was said if a rank 6 or 3 or whatever got invited into the group either.
Although I will say there were certain realms where we’d run into their premades and we’d immediately start joking about them because they tended to turtle or whatever.
There was a level of elitism in some of the premades sure, just not in the same ways.
The more i read these pvp posts the more confused i get, You don’t want wow pvp or classic pvp.
You want a MOBA play a moba?! League and Dota 2 or smite or (insert lesser known moba) are not the devilish boogeymen you think they are and you will have vastly more fun solo there than banging your head against the classic pvp wall.

I’m guessing you’re trolling.
Many premades are grown adults who realize the absurdity of the WoW Vanilla system and don’t think it’s particularly noteworthy to stomp a PUG.
Many are insecure trashlords who wants to flex over non-accomplishments.
I don’t care either way. It’s more annoying to be ON the team of insecure dweebs than fight AGAINST them (who cares if someone emote spams you?). And it’s easy to just not play with them.

WoW pvp community if flat out garbage.
When I play sc2 you say “good luck, have fun” at the start of the game and majority of people really mean it there. If you have decent sportsmanship you respect your opponent just like you respect the game. Even if you are upset that you lost or overly joyous that you won, it’s standard to end a game with a friendly GG.
WoW is no different than CoD, everyone is autistic garbage apparently, look in the mirror dudes. Who the heck is raising these children to have such terrible manners?

I can’t count the number I’ve times I’ve been called a Fa_____ Ni_____ in games like LoL, EQ, etc. This is not a WoW problem, I promise you.
Yeah most games have bad online manners but WoW wasn’t always like this, definitely disappointing feeling like the majority of organized PvPers have insufferable attitudes.

Yeah, it’s gotten worse over time. Probably. There’s no way to measure it.
But it’s not just online games, either. People are insecure and need to posture and flex and put other down to build themselves up, in general. Have you seen to President of the United States speak lately, for example? It’s a worse in online games because of the distance and anonymity, but it’s everywhere.
And I’m not exactly immune. Sometimes I like to troll people, too. Although at least I realize how much of a stupid dumb idiot I am being when I do it.

If you think you can wrangle this beast then I invite you to head down to your local zoo and convince the crocodile to pass on his raw chicken lunch.
If you can convince that thing to stop eating and breeding than maybe you have a chance of convincing this crowd. Otherwise just let nature takes its course - the big fish will eat the little fish and then eat each other and then pvp can get a proper funeral in the form of no one doing pvp.
I like to purposely mess up BGs when I am with a premade group that sucks like that. Trolling those guys is great.
