Premade vs Premade BG queues when?

… What? Yes, it does. You’re playing, presumably, with 9 others you’re talking to and playing with.

Sunk cost fallacy.

I’ll be sure to review this with you at the end of sod when it never happens because this is an MMO and not a quick match queen game

Actually, it is a difference of opinion. We’re not debating General relativity. It’s a video game.

It must be nice to be so myopic that you can go on the internet and assert such things with such misplaced confidence.

Premade vs. pug is terrible gameplay. It makes no sense. It is clown world logic.

Fact: MMOs are social games and players are to be rewarded for playing socially.

If you don’t like it, don’t pug? Don’t solo queue? Make friends? Just like if I didn’t like doing dungeons by myself, get this, I would find people to do it with. What a novel idea in a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game.

I have no idea what your talking about. Both sides are grouped for BGs. Through a in game match making system. It is social no matter what. It is the difference between random and not random match making. We want random vs. random and premade vs. premade. That is it. We are not out to ruin your socialization. We all like playing in different ways, there is room for everyone.

The solo q people are never going to win. They’ve already lost, actually.

These are typically the players that throw matches and give up, be that versus a premade or another pug. Doesn’t matter, they’ll give up once the friction starts.

If anything, they should REQUIRE BGs to be qued up as a full premade only.

This will set the standard for behavior and expectations by everyone automatically.

Throw games, give up, afk? Kicked out of the group. Continue that behavior? Earn a reputation and never get invited by anyone. In a premade only battle ground everyone will be expected to try and fulfill their roles. Pugs do not have any expectations and no standards

And you keep being told that’s nonsense. You are supposed to be at an advantage for grouping. It’s an MMO, not a FPS. If you queue with people you’re coordinated with you should be better than a group that isn’t. If the people solo queuing want that advantage, they can get it. Sorry you seem to hate this genre, but it’s really obvious why it is this way and should stay this way. Make friends, stop being a loser.

We have that right now. Premades figut each other and pugs fight each other

It is implied by that statement that “being social” should supersede every other facet of the game at all times always.

I disagree. I’m sorry if that upsets you.

These children can’t ever possibly be at a disadvantage, that’s not fair! What? You mean that everyone has equal opportunity to make or join a group? You mean you want me to put a modicum of effort in to get the thing I want? :V

It does, because it’s an MMO. That’s quite literally the foundation of the genre.

This example literally proves the opposite.

If you are in a league, you are going to play other organized teams in that league, not random people looking for a pickup group. The result is a higher level of competitiveness.

Now what what happens more often is a bunch of randoms or small groups show up to play pickup basketball.

In the pickup game, the level of competition might be less, but that doesn’t diminish that it is still a social game.

Your problem is how you define the social aspect of the game. Your comments make clear that you believe if you aren’t playing with a full premade, you are not social and “bad” at the game. You said that in your posts.

It’s toxic attitudes like that, which are not open to the idea that the social aspect of the instanced PVP takes many forms beyond full premade steamrolling PUGs.

They never tell the full story.

They never talk about the 2 4mans they were paired with, they never bring up the 9 man premade that carried the pug to a win vs a 10 man. Then right after that game, they hit a full pug game and give up because their pugs are getting farmed on the gy just as if they were a premade.

They can’t make an argument. It’s just ad hominem and red herring.

They have the ability to “fix their problems”, but flat out refuse to for god only knows why.

Or they only have 30 minutes a day to play sod and expect that to be catered to. I’m glad Aggrend told them to buzz off

No. In a beer league you get both. You get people just joining a team and some teams that join all as one. Had you any experience, you’d know this and why I chose that specific thing for the example.

No we do not. We have premade vs. pug, premade vs. premade and pug vs pug, and everywhere in-between. Makes for a chaotic experience. :frowning:
