That’s a legit stance on the surface but without better in game tools to make and join groups it’s also naive. Why is our only choice spamming trade or using external tools like Discord? Where’s the modern Group Finder?
I’d also argue that BG’s in Vanilla were designed for random play. It’s the only content that has auto match making and insta porting (very retail). If Blizz wanted BG’s to be about grouping like we have with Dungeons then we wouldn’t have that. You’d need to form a group and hoof it to the BG entrance like any other instance.
