Do you enjoy it in other versions of WoW?
While I agree they need to do something here, adding a solo queue or doing something with premades, I still think it should be possible to queue with like 1-2 friends and casually do a BG without being forced to fight a 10-man premade as a 2-man team.
I suspect that their main issue with implementing a change for premades-vs-premades is what to do in the non-obvious scenario of non-10-size-premades.
With a premade of 6 players, what to do? Premade of 5, non-raid? Two friends queuing up as a duo?
I don’t think 2 friends should be forced into the premade queue.
Obviously a 10-man premade should face another 10-man premade. But what of the edge cases?

This is the end game for some of them. Make everyone miserable and hold the BG system hostage so they can get exclusive rewards for their toxic behavior.
Well the interesting thing about that is once solo queuers are all just queuing the solo queue, the only people that you will end up playing with are other premades in the premade queue. So if you play with one other person, you will be on a team of eight others that are doing a pre-made, most likely. It should be very easy for you guys to work together.
In fact this is one benefit I don’t think people are recognizing.
A lot of people will play the premade queue that only want the solo queue right now. Because even if you solo queue in the pre-made queue, you’ll end up with a nine-man pre-made to play with. It might be a lot of fun.
The only thing that will be eliminated are 10 man premades steamrolling random players. Which would be a great evolution for BGs.
todays BGs. ut of 31 games weve checks notes 6 pugs and 25 premades. Tonight i need to give my toaster a bath.

This exactly. No grouping allowed in solo ques. A separate grouping que. You can have a group of any size, and matchmaking system tries to put groups of diff sizes together. Don’t really care cuz i won’t be queing premades. I love the casual-ness of solo queing, and pug ques need to get away from bully premade ques.

I don’t understand why we can’t just have raid size groups of 6-10 always have to queue against another raid size queue of 6-10. Smaller groups aren’t an issue and you usually can find a few players to work with as a solo. If i was a solo groups with a 9m premade i’d be just fine working with them. This is the easiest way to resolve the issue of 10 singles going against a 10m premade.
