Premade Group Finder: Auto-Accept Gone?

It seems Blizzard has removed the 'Auto-Accept' option from the Premade Group Finder: https://imgur.com/a/Ux9sKVb

I have tried reloading several times, disabled all addons, checked with a few friends, and other players in Trade Chat.. but everyone is having the same result. I have a GM Ticket chat open right now, unsure if this is UI related or a stealth patch removal to combat WQGF-type addons..

It was removed form the game. No new addon can be created that does something similar either. From what I've read the devs felt people were abusing it to AFK World Quests.

I used to use it all the time and I never AFKed on a WQ, I did sometimes just come in on the tail end of completing them a few times.

You're thinking of WQGF.

This is a completely new issue as of a few hours ago.

What Givemeloot said, yes - WQGF was disabled with the API restrictions, but removing the actual Premade Group Finder Auto-Accept option seems to be new as of today. I was using it just fine yesterday to run WQs/bosses on my alts..

Everytime blizzard stealth nerfs something shows they have no respect for their customers in my opinion.

That they cannot be bothered to let people know the changes they are making because they are ashamed of them or just don't care how it affects their players.

Not for me, or multiple other people in this thread. Just because it's there for you doesn't mean it's there for everyone lol. Can provide a screenshot if you want.

Sounds like more new horrible changes for the sake of changes that make no sense at all.

I still see the Auto-Accept checkbox. Might be a bug, or something related to your UI, perhaps?

Can you create the group yourself and enable the feature? Like I said, I tried between multiple characters - with addons enabled & disabled - and the GM even tried my character too.

It's not a stretch to say they just stealth nerfed this to continue their fight against WQGF addons, I would just prefer that they announce it instead of hope that it slides under the radar.

It has gone for me.

This must be a mistake as having groups auto accept makes life so much easier. Have to click the buttons for the group leader and invites is going to put people off.

Fortunately, you can still to invite yourself for ICC25 runs, you have to log in and out multiple times to accept the invite.

According to a post on one of the addon pages over at Curse it appears Blizzard has further restricted the API.

BlizzDevNull: We see people using addons to group up in MMO content.
BlizzDevVoid: Nice! They will be able to complete content efficiently with people.
