I’m just going to go ahead and apologize now to any of y’all that may have the misfortune of queuing up with me in SS. I guess I can throw in a congratulations as well since you will probably get some wins also.
I’ve just found PvP(after dabbling over the years) and it’s been pretty fun overall. I’m not that good at healing but I enjoy it so I promise I will try my best and hopefully not make my teammates rage too hard.

We all start somewhere, young blood. Thanks for healing and continue to full send.
If you get good enough, expect a visit from Efx’s mom. Just make sure to stock the fridge with Lunchables and Gogurts.

Welcome to the game mode! I hope you have a blast, and get hoj+reps when it’s safe to do so!

I mean, I’ve been in like 3 matches and no one has done it yet but I’m still below 1k. I’m sure it’ll happen before long but it’s whatever, they can just be mad and hope not to queue with me again.
I guess, I rather when the toxicity wasn’t so rampant in the game
tbh he could prob get 1800 easier just holding hoj forever until the enemy healer tries to chase him down cross map to land their cc (happens basically every game <1800), and just putting 100% attention to his team’s health bars.
Ya, a good hoj+rep can win games, but a bad one can lose them just as easily

rookie mistake
lesson #1 of pvp: never apologize. Always find someone else to blame.
Don’t worry about making this mistake though, the journey is made up of constantly making mistakes and fixing them. Now you know :^)

I have made it my goal to be kind those I play with and look to the positive things that happened during the matches despite winning or losing.

I always blame rap music or the fact that they cancelled Firefly after one season for my arena shortcomings.
I take my advice from Patches O’Houlihan on accepting blame for losses, “Dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge”.
The greatest media tragedy of our(?) Generation. Did you hear about the two episodes that they wrote but fox wouldn’t approve of filming/airing??
And sometimes you just get crushed by the luck of the irish. “It’s how he would’ve wanted to go”.

“What about them?” he sneers. “They’re fresh.” This leads Adroi, an orc overlord, to declare that their healers are not for eating. Another hangry orc proposes maiming the paladin instead. “They don’t need those,” he says. But when the orc pushes it by moving in to murder the holy paladin, Adroi lops off the orc’s head and issues a triumphant bellow: “Looks like meat’s back on the menu, boys!”
We look forward to your heals…

I did not! What is this heresy you speak of!
They had two episodes that they wrote and never got shipped because they were “too dark”.
One they went to drop off a delivery on some outer rim planet at some run-down facility and noticed something seemed a bit off, because it was noticeably over the asking price, but they got the money no questions asked.
Then, upon returning to the ship, mal figured out that there were stowaways. Turns out, the facility was actually damaged beyond repair and the people working there were trying to sneak on Serenity to escape.
Mal, zoe, and the crew get into an argument about whether or not to take them to safety or leave them. Wash points out that they don’t have enough oxygen to get back to a settled system with all those people (most of whom are families) and they’d have to run into another ship to re-oxygen or they’d all die.
Arguing ensues and Mal shoots at the ceiling to get everyone’s attention. He says that everyone is too high strung right now and that they’ll sleep on it and, as the captain, he declares that he’ll hold a vote in the morning.
The next scene is the crew waking up in the middle of the night to find that the ship is moving. Without telling anyone, Mal made the executive decision to leave them there and go, because his crew’s safety wasnt worth the risk of anyonr else’s lives.
Several characters get mad at him, but the episode ends with them getting back to the settled systems, but without ever having ran into another ship.

The other episode was inara going to a ship in orbit to service a client while everyone else is on shore leave and that ship gets attacked by reavers. Mal and the crew fight with the lcoal magistrate to convince him to send a rescue party.
After getting aid of the townsfolk (by putting the local leader at gunpoint, but also having several people join voluntarily), they stork up to the ship… and it’s quiet… too quiet…
As they look around, they find that all the reavers and the crew are dead. The crew were clearly killed by the reavers, but the reavers are mysteriously unmarked. Eventually, they find inara, bloody and bruised and ask what happens.
Ahe explains that all companions carry a special pill that will kill any creature that forces themselves on them…
And there are a lot of dead reavers.
So you can see why Fox didn’t want to put those on public tv!
Wowowowowow.
I’m so mad now. TV show writing sucks so bad in present day.
