I'd like them to be unlocked, even if I am busy doing it myself.
If next expansion new players still have to go back and grind Legion content that would be 20 levels under the next max level (Providing things keep going as they are.) That would get a bit silly.
Maybe they should all have a thourough unlock quest. It would be like the locked goblin/wogen/panda zones. You can make the character but have to help them do whatever and then join their faction.

as someone who hates lvling alts, yes locking promised content for an expansion behind rep especially exalted with previous content reps is kind of dumb.
They will probably make it easier but not make them totally accessible.
It wouldn't surprise me. They seem to be getting close to oh !@#$ mode like they did with WoD.

Last I checked WoD Pathfinder is still locked behind reputations. Why would Allied Races be any different?
I would just be happy if they remove the Paragon Caches and made the Legion Faction mounts purchasable - like they should have been from the get-go.

that would be nice but id just be fine with them being in the actual emissary boxes the paragon box should just be an extra chance at it. ie a reward for still grinding rep with them even though its an old expansion faction that ive already grinded rep for exalted 10 times over.

Last I checked pathfinder wasn't in the game until they lost over 60% of their player base and they hit oh !@#$ mode pretty quickly after vehemently denying that flying would be added at all.
They might reduce the requirements or add a catch up system. But they probably won't take away requirements altogether.
They’re so stubborn that I doubt it, but I’m definitely one customer that hasn’t bothered with the process. The new races aren’t even that cool IMO.
More likely the next expansion, technically this is a BfA feature, but we got the first 4 early. In the past races dropped their requirements 1 or 2 expansions later.
Let me know when I don't have to grind netherwing rep for the BC drake mounts.

It seems like when the developers makes a bad decision they double down on it out of pride
