I have the achievement to rescue 50 Vulpera in Vol’dun. Is there a comparable achievement for Alliance? Also I rescued them from skeleton curse-pirates and Sethrak, never goblins. Once, from Ashvane humans! Not goblins, not Horde.

I’ve never seen a quest like that; in fact the only Vulpera that even talks to us is a pet battle guy in Vol’dun, and I’m pretty sure that’s just for gameplay purposes.
I guess I don’t understand why people are so sure all of a sudden that it’s happening though. There’s a couple of these threads in the last 3-4 days and it doesn’t make much sense. I thought maybe they’d said something or something new happened.
Because 8.2.5 was coming out, some thought Vulpera would be added in the Goblin and Worgen update for some reason.
While I think 9.0 is more likely, use the race to get interest for the next xpac, they get their own zone, own questlines, own rep bar to grind.

You should really really really look at my post again, the post it was replying to because all that’s there is a generic insult about Alliance arrogance. There was no “putting words in half the player populations mouth” as you keep insisting.

The only chance Alliance have of getting Sethrak is if they “pull a Nightborne” by having Vorrik get very upset that [Insert Horde lore figure here] was mean to him at some stage.
Horde literally killed Korthek and canonically saved their revered loa.
Can the Alliance get exalted reputation with the Voldunai? No? Then guess where Vulpera aren’t going.
The Zandalari are a sub-race. You could have gone with Kul’tirans and have a stronger argument since they got completely new rigs. But the fact is all the races we’ve gotten are from a race we previously had. Horde getting Vulpera while Alliane getting Mechagnomes isn’t going to happen.

Vulpera rigs are based on the new Goblin rigs. Except heavily modified for their tails and legs, also now and with the entire player character animations. And they were put into the game before the new Goblins that are supposed to be out in 2 days.
I think thats a pretty strong argument someone in Blizz wants them in-game and wants them playable. It’s another developer pet race like Void Elves.
Ahh that makes sense, you’ll have to become exalted with them to access them in the next xpac. Just like the current races. I’m guessing rustbolt resistance for the junk gnomes.
I don’t think that many Alliance players want Vulpera specifically.
They just want a race that is on par with Vulpera in terms of uniqueness and effort, like Sethrak. But they’re afraid they are going to get Mechagnomes, which would be a huge middle finger from Blizz.

Yeah because Yellow eyed Draenei, Ogre Humans and, Goth Elves weren’t a middle finger. Biggest Alliance demanded races of all time, really! Promise!

I mean, a large part of the reason Mechagnomes are so hated is because the previous Alliance races have been so lackluster. People really want Alliance to get at least one good thing, and Mechagnomes definitely aren’t it.

Here’s a simple exercise for Horde players. BfA comes out, and Horde get, Fat Orcs, golden eyed Blood Elves are a separate race, and you can make Frostwolf orcs, but not Blackrock or Laughing Skull. No posture adjustment. And Highmountain Tauren.
That’s basically the Horde version of what Alliance got, which is why I switched ages ago. I knew Alliance were always going to get crapped on.

IMO Alliance can have Sethrak and the furrets. Horde should get Ogres and another undead race, I’d prefer a ghostly type like Banshees or something of that nature. That’d be neat.
I’m sure there will be some asspull reason, like how the highmountain and nightborn were quick to join a war against the alliance even though the alliance also helped them
Meh, Horde can have the Vulpera. Right now they should be called the Blood Elves Gang.
Like to have Dryads and Keeper of the Grove types.
I’d like that, but I can’t see them ever adding a four-legged race.
