Preach's stance on flying and pathfinder

Yes, yes. But convenience is usually better, especially compared to forced inconvenience.

See I can absolutely respect this opinion. Doesn’t care for flying and stays on the ground. Anti-flying people could take a valuable lesson from you.

I paid my speeding ticket at a drive through courthouse. Life is a pain in the butt, I’ll take any convenience I can get.

I’d argue that staying on the ground if you don’t like flying is a viable option. That way you could play the game the way you enjoy and I could play the way I enjoy.

I’m not anti-flying, I’m anti-spam.

Fair enough! I’m perfectly ok with differences of opinion.

Classic is all about the journey. It’s the version of WoW I play to zone out and just chill.

I don’t mind the Pathfinder part to get flying as long as you can get access immediately after finishing Part 1 for the initial launch content, then Part 2 for the following major content patch.

It helps certain play styles by minimizing time spent riding around, getting stuck on bushes, knocked off their mounts. Altoholics like me can get more emissaries, WQs, story quests, leveling of other characters, etc. completed.

I’m not saying you’re wrong, but there’s a REASON why people are so happy to get their mounts at 40 or epic mounts at 60, and that is because everything just takes too dang long when it takes you longer to get to an instance than it takes to get to the second boss fight of the instance.

An unprofessional sense of pride that they want you to see their content?

Rofflecopters my man.

I love your attitude Baeodan! Indeed we are all different.

To address you correctly, I’ll say that making things “easier” within a gaming environment, can be detrimental, as it’s often the challenge we enjoy. Not sure how that fits here as the only challenge I had with pathfinder was fighting the grind.

For me it’s about ‘time’. I want the quickest travel option from point A to point B, if I could run at 400% I’d not need flying.

:beers: Have a great weekend my fellow Paladin!

Let’s let this millenial crowd also get 500k free gold with their flying at level 1

Personally ,flying should def unlock for ALL prior expansions once a new one comes out though . Grinding pathfinder to make tmog farming easier is absolute trash

In Blizzard’s mind, pathfinder was a success because it’s the first time they’ve ever gotten players to grind out faction reps.

They tried locking mounts behind them, didn’t really work.
They tried locking profession recipes behind them, didn’t really work.
They tried locking transmogs behind them, didn’t really work.

But flying… Ah, yes.

So… the crowd born between 1981 and 1996? That’s what Pew Research defines millenials as, y’know.

This is what I play for. Much love!

You’re right it’s also why I only play with 1 toon on Classic and have after 9 toons between 111 and 120 and actively raid Heroic with a dabbling into mythic on 3 of them. It’s why classic is my relax and chill version of wow.

I’m a millennial…I’m also 30, married have a kid been in my carrier field for 9 years and own a home…I don’t get the insults against millenials that haven’t been accurate for over a decade.

Flying is ok. They just need to get rid of the rep grind and make you buy it. But you can only buy it after they are done with the main story of that expansion. Thay way people are on the ground with other until the expansion is over for the most part.

Cool opinion bro. Unfortunately my opinion is the opposite.
