I like AoE caps. Too many classes are far too strong in AoE content because of the lack of a cap.
A cap allows blizzard to balance classes with greater ease. Period.
I like covenants not being easily switched. Meaningful choice is good. You get a perk that benefits you depending on your play style or content choice. It’s different. It’s gimmicky. And it means not everyone can be BiS in all content all the time. Player skill should be able to overcome covenants abilities.
To be honest… streamers in general think they are the ducks nuts. They are just people who for the most part don’t have real jobs or can’t hold one down that people on a similar boat choose to watch because… well to be honest I haven’t worked out why…
Their opinion is no more valid than anyone else’s and the DO NOT speak for everyone.
Last time I checked Preach hasn’t contact me and asked me my views on the changes in Shadowlands and until he does he needs to stop using language that depicts him speaking for everyone and choose language that just speaks for himself. Because that is what he is doing… speaking for himself… he doesn’t like the changes personally so he is trying to use the illusion of a collective majority to force his views and force change to suit himself.
I’m not sure that the AoE cap is going to equalize all the classes the way you think it might. Some classes, like DK, can spread their diseases beyond the cap number and therefore are much less impacted by the cap.
I dunno if it’s even that. I think we’ll have to see and play with it for a while before making that judgment. It’s certainly possible that the AoE cap will make the gap between the haves (who can bypass) and the have-nots (who can’t) that much wider than it is right now.
I find that disagreeing with others and making your opinion be heard normally helps everyone find a better solution to everyone’s issues.
I want to tell you that Preach has multiple times said he does not speak for everyone. He speaks for himself just as you do.
I am thankful that you have spoken and said your opinion on covenants and Aoe caps, I do not agree with your opinions and I am more incline to agree with Preach’s but I believe that both of you have the same right to say what you want and have it heard.
I just don’t think directly attacking Preach because your opinion differs with him is the correct way.
You’re all fine and good and entitled to your opinion, but when you go around insulting another person’s way of life because you disagree with them, you are effectively worse than anything you might have a problem with.
