Talking with others in BGs and it seems like Felguard has got even smaller, no? They never told us why they shrank this demon in the first place. Now it does seem smaller. Felguard being smaller than my toon and becoming closer to the size of an imp makes me less interested after all these years. Anyone else seeing this or have I just had a sour healthstone?

This is gonna get weird, but hear me out. This is how my head immediately viewed this. Compare the Felguard to a woman that’s 21. She’s in the best shape of her life, but in a highly abusive relationship, so she drowns it out in adult beverages. (This is a family forum. lol). Party, work out, deal with her abusive sargeras. Decade goes by, not only did she break up with the abusive boyfriend, he got prison for life. She finally has time to deal with everything she felt with, puts down adult beverages, maybe isn’t in as good of shape as she was, but still in good shape. Miss felguard finds a nice stable person to be with. (I just watched a movie about this. It kind of clicked)
Long story short, they aren’t forcefully being pumped full of fel energies, and are bound to a single summoner, opposed to an all powerful being. Could it lead to them being fed energies from other sources, like arcane, instead of fel?
It didn’t get weird, it started off weird.

He’s starting to look more cute as they shrink him rather than threatening.
He is smaller in lower lvls, até 70 its his full size.
It’s smaller cause you’re not “level capped” anymore in the eyes of the coming xpac. He will return to the size before prepatch once you hit 80. (Still smaller than it used to be)

It shouldn’t be. Some of us were annoyed of how much the sizing of felguard has been. The felguard model used to be taller than the worgen model, but after the pers were moved to the transmog npc they reduced it’s size by what seems 1 feet in comparison to worgen model size…
Just wait till they start resizing melee weapon sizes and we’ll really start seeing a community uproar. Lol
My watch guard is normal, maybe its fell guard the problem
My wrath guard is normal size, maybe its just fell guard with this bug.
I think they shrank it for the benefit of Raid groups (to reduce on-screen clutter).
Now, however, they can shrink Elementals so it looks small for Raid groups but not for the summoner, so, there’s no reason they couldn’t do that for Felguard.
Having said that, I use the Wrathguard, and he doesn’t look small compared to my Warlock.
pets scale to size based off of level. Most likely they will be full sized again once you are max level in the new expansion.
