I’ve been requesting customization for the character select screen for years so this is pretty neat for me personally.
I do hope we can tweak details about it, like background and positioning for the display characters.

I doubt there’s no limit. It may be very high, I’m just curious if any problems would arise when the system is keeping track of 100s of characters across a single warband.

I think it’s cool that people want it and they’re doing it. I personally don’t need my login screen I never look at to have it, but I am also not going to say no. lol It’s good to have fun RPG style features for everyone!
Nope that’s likely $90 for each one.
I mean, it is Blizz and we don’t trust their servers. But Old Republic never had an issue. They just introduced account wide bottomless mats not too long ago and their system didn’t explode!

Again, you can play perfectly fine with the $50 version.
Also the $90 one comes with a free month of sub, so that makes it effectively $75 as is.

That would make it even better! I wonder if it will include hunter pets. I see a pet on the mockup they showed, but it doesn’t look as if there was a hunter on that screen, unless it’s the Orc.
As an amend to my earlier statement, my bank toon may hang with the Druid.
It comes down to less than a dollar a day for an unlimited time form of entertainment, that’s not steep.
But I need the stuff on the $90 and to hypocritically complain about it! Otherwise what are the wow forums even for?

I suggest looking at the 3 different versions because yes there’s a $90 version but do you really need it versus the the cheaper two? I myself am not a huge beta access type and the 3 day start isn’t a huge deal for me so I’ll probably be going with the $50 version.
This is one of those situations where you can spend a lot and get some extras for whatever their value is to you or not get what looks to me like mounts and pets and pay less but still have the same game access.
By the way, I’m in no way defending the corporation, I work for one and hate it immensely but just pointing out the nuances.
Why would there be difficulties keeping track of many characters in a warband? There’s no difficulty keeping track of many characters in your WoW account. It’s not like a warband is a physical thing that needs to have enough boxes to fit everybody, “in your warband” is just a fancy way of saying “on your account”.
Didn’t explode any worse than it normally does, at least. 
Could be technical limitations. Given that you can log in simultaneously on multiple accounts under the same bnet, I could see it breaking something to try and have both accounts have access to the same resources.
I mean can you imagine multiboxing five accounts and grinding rep with all of them at the same time?

damn just save $10 a month, then by the time the next expac in the series hits, you will have enought to probably afford the EPIC / HEROIC edition versions everytime they hit. That is the adult player thing to do, or (hate to see ya go pimp) play something else 
If your a kid, get an odd job, bring those grades up, stop messing up with your parents, or a combination of all 3 so they might feel motivated to buy it for you or at least help you with the price (since they already are paying for your internet, right? 
) 
Has I’ve said, I’ve already purchased it. For others though - Depending on cash on hand, regardless of what it comes down to, for some paying that much up front is difficult. I just have compassion for those in that situation no matter how you want to rationalize it. Factual, cold based hearts doesn’t make this easier for some to swallow. That’s all.
You actually don’t have to pay 90 at all because the base game is 50.
