$183 AUD to ship it to Australia. More than the cost of the collectors edition itself. Are you planning to hand deliver these to the door via Blizzard staff members or something?
And can’t even pre-order through local retailers like we usually can with past expansions.

Yeah the failure to make it available to pre-order through local retailers makes it doubly absurd. I would honestly buy it if I could just pre-order via ebgames and I’d go pick it up from the store.

I agree, it’s disgusting how much Blizzard is charging us this time around. At $260 CAD they can’t even include free shipping!
Their shipping services has gone down hill for the last few years. I remember buying so many things from the blizzard store before and it would be free shipping and I’d pay customs fee or sometimes it was $20. But now $100 for the game, that’s robbery. Because of their terrible shipping service I’ve stopped buying stuff altogether. Few months ago I wanted to buy the shadows rising book on sale for $9.00 but they want to charge $30 for shipping in handling… it’s a joke.
Also sucks you can’t buy from ebgames/gamestop anymore… so we have no choice

As much as I’d like to have the griffon statue, I can’t justify the $214 total cost. 
Here’s the kicker, now if you add that $9 book the shipping goes up another $26 to a total of $126. So they can’t even throw that book into the same box for the same shipping price. 
Not when they offer those 6 month packages now which has a mount in it…can’t use bnet balance to buy those…that is how I keep my sub up is with those for last few years…my sub is good till end of this year and there will be another 6 month one soon.
I would actually have bought this, as a classic player wanting to possibly dabble in retail. But $500 including shipping to Australia is a hard pass.
That actually seems a bit cheap for the artbook, collector’s pin, and the statue as well.
There is absolutely no excuse for this being $180. None at all. This is a literal ripoff. A lot of people aren’t going to be able to afford this, and then when they sell out the only way people will be able to get them is to pay hundreds of dollars more for them on eBay. This is beyond ridiculous that you jack up the prices on these collector’s editions. It seems like every time you release one the price goes up. This is just pure greed for the sake of being greedy.
Just priced it out for myself…the dang taxes are almost as much as the shipping cost to Florida…my shipping cost is $19.99…dang taxes are $13.50…these should be shipped free…is the high cost to Canada or Aust due too import fees?
I would get it but I already paid for “War Within” and only way they give me back the difference is put it too my Bnet Balance…which is useless to me since you can’t use Bnet Balance to pay for 6 month subs which is what I pay for most times as it includes a mount too.
Maybe you can use it towards tokens?

I think Blizzard missed an opportunity here with the 20th Anniversary.
They could have started reprinting the CEs starting with the Original having a 20th Anniversary mark on them so people could “complete” their CE Collections. Then do the same for BC, WOTLK etc. I myself would love to get an Original WoW CE as I found out about the game too late.
Im just going to ask and i hope im not being a jerk for asking but can the people who have had an active subscription for the 20 years straight get it for free? You rewarded us at 10 years with the statue but what about 20 years?

That’s what I hate about blizz gear store, you order it through there, you’d think they would give you a code to activate your pre-order bonuses as if you got a digital version
it’s really not that hard considering they are selling the game themselves
