Why do I have to have BFA to pre-purchase SL. I could see in April but still in October? The expansion is at the end of its life cycle and you delayed SL so I have to wait longer for what will be dead content? No one is going to buy BFA for $40 to play it for a month while it is still relevant. Can we include BFA in the pre-purchase already seeing how you delayed SL?

You’ve always had to purchase the previous expansion prior to buying the next expansion. They’ve never allowed you to pick and choose which expansions you wanted.
The complete edition includes BFA & Shadowlands. The Pre-Purchase is specifically for BFA owners.
If saving money is your intention, you could wait for a sale, possibly during their anniversary next month.
Wait or pay. Those are your options.
You only need to wait until Oct 13th. When the pre-patch rolls out, BFA will roll into the base game per Recent News
