I just got an answer to this, yes! As long as you enter the code from the physical CE edition by midnight on the 31st of December, they will credit the balance you paid for the digital edition.
Also, Drakks the pet has a a flying mount!

I HIGHLY doubt this expansion will be even remotely ready this year.
No one knows ANYTHING about this expansion except for the “promises” made on Youtube.
Haven’t shown people anything except nothing.
The last update about this game was 2 months ago.
We have:
Dragons
Another wanna-be Disney Princess lead
Revamping the talents again
Raising the level cap to 70 again
Promises to do better

Looking forward to the expansion truly I am but ain’t this a little to early to be calling a release date by years end. Lots of information about the system and other class talent trees that we don’t even know about. I won’t be pre ordering as I’ve learned already with BFA and Shadowlands I’m going to approach this expansion cautiously when it releases.
Jeez some of you are roasting blizzard for december release.

To tin hat this they could potentially skip beta and just do a longer alpha and it would fall into place.
Of course you won’t be able to actually fly with it in the Dragon Isles. as the only flight available will be DragonRiding.

It’s not going to be better if Dragonflight is worse than Shadowlands.
I’d at least wait until videos of the game play etc are released.
I skipped the entire Shadowlands expansion like a lot of my friends did ( played Classic, then quit and worked on my book) until 9.2…
And I’ll skip this one if it looks like it’s going down the same road.
At this point if you preorder this game you deserve to be broken again.

Am I reading this right heroic/epic also gives heroic/epic shadowlands box? But I get no discount for having this already? Seems…. Odd that some may be able to get these for free when they are only 2 years old.
The concern isn’t another year of shadowlands… it’s 2 more years of it if we get a bad dragonlands release 
They need to do dragonflight right… rushing is only going to make things worse.
Blizzard will get my money. for the wrath stuff. If I see what I like. not seeing info on that one to know yet. I am leaning to yeah…I need professions trained to outland 375 personally. I’d part with money faster to avoid loops for rocks and such.
This…yeah. never used cosmetics from BFA or SL preorder.
I don’t need boosts. SL has my alt addiction in check. A small army of 50’s I cba to fix up. even my 60’s in pvp aren’t fun at times. gearing is not fun at times.
and I will predict the new class/race witll have some catch to where its has an unlock you must level 1(10) to 70 to get it. there will be the fine print to an item probably not unlike heritage armour. Fine print will say cannot be obtained with boost.

This is true. FFXIV doesn’t do any public testing at all and they have far fewer problems than WoW does. Maybe we are the drama.

Those two ‘collection’ bundles throw in heroic SL with either the heroic or epic upgrade for DF. Notably, it’s currently $10 more to buy one of these bundles than to just pay for SL and DF separately since SL is currently discounted as part of the summer sale.
Epic (or base) SL still has to be purchased separately; it’s not included in any bundles.
Take a look at our prices, the wince is real. (Yes, I know, conversion rates, but I’m pointing out what I pay for it with MY money, the stuff I need to buy my groceries at MY prices).
Thankfully, I should have enough on my bnet balance to get the base edition now and I might even be able to farm enough gold to get the Heroic if I felt like doing that. (Edit, just logged on and checked, nope will need one more token for the Base version. On it.)
PPS: Ouch. The AH token has gone up to over 220k in one day. Strewth.
