Currently we can spend our radiants on the gear, though cannot mail the gear to other characters anymore.
Items are “soulbound” upon purchase.

Yeah, figured that wouldn’t be able to use the Radiant Memory currency anymore but didn’t realize any unequipped gear bought with it would start disappearing 20 minutes before TWW went live.
Had a few of those in Warband Bank that an alt hadn’t picked up yet. It’s gone now.

Is it? I just bought a buttload of stuff a few hours ago and I was able to put into that new bank for my other guys.
yeah ive been mailing stuff the last hour. seems to of bugged out 10-15 mins before launch

There is another thread stating that the gear is disappearing from people’s war banks. It has to be a glitch. I hope so anyway, had a ton of stuff for alts I hadn’t had a chance to spread around.

Yup, i can confirm. My warband bank with these gears is just empty slots. I was going to mail what I bought and they were soulbound so i vendor them back. this was 15mins before xpac drop.
PS. that left me with currency i couldn’t spend when I could’ve.

It was probably done to prevent peeps making any gold from thier stashes of echoes. Have the vendors disappeared yet?? I had a couple pieces stored I’ll lose, glad I went to the trouble of making sure all my alts upgraded thier gear Friday.

ugh Blizzard absolutely clueless. It’s more work to do all this vs. keeping things warbound, letting us spend the currency long after the event ends, ect. Let me buy bags and put them in bank…it’s NOT difficult, at all.
Same crap happened with the pre-dragonflight currency

There are multiple posts, and in Blizzard fashion, they choose to reply how to unlock Earthen in another post, when every player that has certain items in a Warband Bank are missing, or went BOP, and blipped out with a snap.
This is unacceptable for communication and gameplay. Especially ones that paid extra for a couple days head start and come back to some alts.
It seems that, once again, testing goes to the wayside for money for early access.

Same, all the gear and weapons I had in my war bank for alts gone. Very disappointing because I had 3 full sets of mail for earthen hunter/shaman, hoping it’s an unintended bug or else they should have made an announcement, and I would have used it on my remix mail wearers at least then it would be of some use not just poof gone.
Had an entire warbank tab that was just gear from buying them with residual memories, ALL GONE! WHAT THE HELL MAN! I spend all the currency since I figured the vendors would disappear. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

When I first opened the warbank the pieces all were blacked out and said soulbound, now its all gone.

Same for me, except the items in the warbank are still there for now. Items in pocket were also marked soulbound, so I vendored them for gold.
…and now they’re gone from warbank.
