Pre patch raid logs

Looking to be a very unbalanced season.

Specs doubling the performance of others.

And with their history of sometimes taking months to address this type of thing, the number of other fires they currently have, and a tendency to leave massive obvious imbalances unchanged while making head scratching changes to little things on the margin…

Guess I’m leveling up my death night, don’t feel like doing survival hunter again. It really was head roll the keyboard at the end of Shadowlands when it was doubling other specs.

Prepatch balance is not indicative of Season 1 midnight balance.

No one has apex talents, which vary mileage based on spec, but definitely matter.

There hasn’t been a final balance pass, we won’t have the balance patch we have for the raid until the season begins.

Taking prepatch logs seriously is definitely an interesting decision

Yup…

You know when else they say things like this…

Every other time there’s massive imbalances.

It’s not like there’s not history of things being way out of balance.

It’s just alpha, beta, open beta, first week, 2nd week, can’t make changes until RWF is over.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnd 3 months into the season… getting close to balanced.

You want them to do balancing around bosses that die in 40s and do no mechanics?

I want them to do it while balancing on a beach ball that a seal is balancing on its nose.

And the seal balancing on the earth while the earth balancing on it’s axis

Now that might be worth $15/month…

That’s like saying you are worried about end game balance because you saw someone do insane damage in a leveling dungeon.

There are no apex talents and no Midnight tier sets or trinkets yet.

By the Titans, cool your jets OP.

You are clueless

If a spec is starting off doing less than half the damage of other specs, do you really think apex talents, tier sets, and trinkets, which none of the specs have, are going to suddenly effect that spec so much more than others specs that it reaches parity?

That would mean one specs would be getting 25% boost while the other would be getting 125%. You really think that’s the master plan? Blizzard intentionally made the specs that far out of whack because they couldn’t balance the end game gear?

Being this far out of whack to start probably doesn’t mean they’re on top of this.

Maybe this will all magically balance itself out and two weeks into the season all the specs will suddenly be withing 5-15% of each other, not 5-110%.

My money is on the later, but one thing is for sure… Time will tell and anyone will be able to come back to this thread.

Pre-patch is meme content. Things will change between now and s1.
