So with the Pre-patch hitting PTR when do you think it will go live? Seems like an early release for Shadowlands.

My guess? October 15th pre-patch, December 9th release. Was I close?
October 6th is my best guess for prepatch.

I think it’ll be at least a couple months probably. An October pre-patch seems likely.
Ion mentioned in the interviews last month it’ll be as usual a few weeks or so before the expansion and that’s not till much later in fall. Getting things up early just means more time for testing.

Fighting a bunch of undead in October seems pretty on brand for Blizz. They freaking LOVE halloween

I played the PTR today for about 4 hours. Reported about a dozen bugs in the new starting area. Lag made it impossible to push capped characters due to event, which was expected. Still, it’s not even close to ready.
There are still massive core changes being made to classes (which is good), namely Arcane, MM, SPriests, Shamans, to name a few. We aren’t even on tuning passes yet. I dunno guys. Might be a bit more.

spend your echoes on alts, remember that corruptions WILL BE DISABLED on pre patch.
I got an email specifically telling me the PTR was up. Did they ever do that for previous pre-patches? I don’t remember.
Which is basically to say, I foresee this PTR going on for a long, long time, and they only put it up now because they know people are restless and bored AF with live.
Unless it’s Twisted Appendage.
