I think we will get an announcement by next maintenance (9/15). Then let the downloads begin.
i’d bet money on this but you probably wouldn’t pay up when i win. the extra downtime is probably for server connections as people pointed out elsewhere. it’s also patch tuesday today, so any windows stuff on their backend could be getting updated too.

But if you add up all those days and divide by number of pre patch it 36…so just over a month on avg…

Seems in the modern WoW expansion cycle that 30 days would be the norm, with the exception of Legion
There’s several issues still. My guess is 3 weeks from today.
